Teriffic food but expensive

Nice atmosphere inside, and view of a little pond from the seating area. Food is very good, nicely done, tasty. The house dressing, a honey/lime mixture, is outstanding. Wife had broiled Flounder meal, Husband had Chicken Hemingway, both top notch. Prices are a bit on the high side, but we used a... read more

We saw a coupon in The Sunday Sun Times for buy 1 get 1 free entree so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table. It was by the window facing a beautiful pond. It was a great table and in the distance a beautiful fireplace. Our server... More

This was a very nice looking place. We were seated overlooking the pond, which was lovely, especially since we also were close to the fireplace. That was the good and why we gave it 3 stars. The food was another story. Maybe we should have taken the advice of other trip advisor "locals" who said happy hour at the bar... More

Our party went to Chestnut Hill Restaurant for dinner last week. While the service was pretty good, it took a long time for our food to come out.....there were six in our party. Our main concern was with the cleanliness of the silverware, dinnerware and the table. Three people had to request clean silverware, dinnerware and to have something wiped... More

i booked this with a group of friends for a pre Christmas outing. We were seated promptly. View from the tables by the window was nice, looks out on a pond with some wildlife. Food was just ok. Most dishes come with the exact same starch and vegetable. The starch of the day was to be small yellow potatoes, it... More

This upscale restaurant graciously offers buy one get one coupons in local newspaper which makes occasional dining more of option. Food is as worthy of prices.

We came here because of a coupon in the paper, but will be back. We tried the teriyaki rib eye steak, it was thin but great taste and done just right. Cost was on par with a good restaurant and the steak came with fresh mini muffins, salad with homemade dressing, large portion of grilled vegies and potato. All was... More

We actually came here on accident because the place next door was closed! We were not looking to spend quite as much on dinner--but my family throughly enjoyed their meals & the staff! Everyone ordered the seafood platter & said the taste was phenomenal! Our waiter was super friendly--and what appeared to be the owners, checked on us on more... More
