Nice decor, nice setting - pretty good food

Stayed in the area for one night. We had been here years ago and had good memories. Shrimp cocktail seemed pretty watery. Had been frozen and thawed. Wife's oysters hit the spot. My ribeye was cooked to medium well, as requested - but just not a real select cut of meat. I left a few pieces of... read more

I do not normally eat seafood but trued the salmon and it was excellent. There is not a lot of parking space. Wait staff is very attentive.

we had a buy one get one free entrée coupon, were sat upon arrival, all tables have a view. The coupon stipulates one entrée has to come from a select menu, which had at least 10 choices steak, chicken, seafood, so we were happy. But what caught our attention is that an 18% gratuity is added to the bill if... More

We wanted to try someplace nice or Sunday brunch, the restaurant is very nice. The selection and flavor of food was okay, there was nothing exceptional. The patrons are older and well to do. We didn't expect to pay so much for food we could have gotten anywhere for a lot less. We may try it for a normal meal,but... More

This was our third time at Chestnut Hill's Sunday Bunch. The atmosphere reminds me of an elegant wood paneled drawing room. That was the only thing stuffy about this restaurant! I generally don't care for buffets, but this one is exceptional. From your typical breakfast fare, to peel and eat shrimp, smoked salmon, pork curry, delicious southern style greens, fried... More

We recently had another wonderful experience at this popular spot. We 4 used our coupons with no problem whatsoever. Our server Brian was the best ever. He knew the menu, made recommendations and saw to our every need pro.ptly and professionally. I had the amazingly delicious mesquite grilled salmon, hubby shrimp and grits. Our friends had Pork and fish dishes... More

We had a very good meal here. Portions are very big and salad, homemade buns and corn muffins are included. The sirloin beef tips with rice and vegies also came with potatoes - not a good side with the rice. The beef was excellent. The seafood casserole was a bit disappointing as there were some shells in it. I've ordered... More

Chestnut Hill is a little old-timey, but the staff there is kind and helpful and the food delicious. Todd was our waiter for the second year in a row, and he is excellent. He gave grand service without being intrusive and covered many tables efficiently. My favorite dish so far is the fried shrimp which comes with a delicious green... More

Great atmosphere. Friendly Staff. But the only way to get fried Oysters is to get the oyster platter
