Great Food

A more upscale restaurant than the Chesapeake House which is owned by the same family - great seafood and steaks, very good atmosphere.

This restaurant (on restaurant row) in the northern part of Myrtle Beach (NOT in North Myrtle Beach) was one I had wanted to try for years, finally got in and service was great but the food was just ok. I'm not sure if I was expecting more but it was ok.

Food is average with considerably above average prices. Dinners run in the $27 range. Not much choice for sides. Vegetables come with all and they are ok at best. Service was really good. Have to recommend the She Crab Soup. This was my first time trying some and it was delicious. Crabcakes are OK. There are better in the area.

We made reservations for Father's Day.Our reservation was for 11:30, they took us in early. The brunch was awesome! Great wait staff. Food was spectacular, prime rib was perfection. Great selection of fruit in the salad bar. The only complaint, they ran out of cheese cake on the buffet, but they had other items that filled the gap.

I went here with a friend of mine for a nice dinner on our last day of vacation. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The salads were okay, A little strange that they had broccoli and cranberries on them. The rolls were very good, with the rolls you get mini blueberry muffins which is very different and tasty.... This is one of the premiere restaurants in Myrtle Beach SC. It sits on the side of a small lake that provides magnificent views of the greenery, flowers, turtles and birds. Most every seat in the restaurant has a view of the lake. The restaurant is very well appointed and provides a relaxing atmosphere while you dine. The food is... More

Drove into town and wanted to go to an old favorite. The service was average and the food bland. They put sauces on most to cover up mediocre food at best. The place has taken a big dive!!! Go somewhere else!!! You can see alligators and turtles elsewhere!

This was our first time eating at Chestnut Hill. The food was expensive but worth every penny. We loved the atmosphere. Hunter was a fantastic server. He was courteous and attentive. We will definitely go back.
