Our family has a family reunion in Myrtle Beach every two years and have been doing so since 1989. Four years ago we decided a family dinner would be fun and I decided to try and find a good location for our 60 some family members and friends. After about 100 emails and calls there were very few places for... More

Disappointed with meal. For the cost the food was just ok. Our waiter was efficient but did not go out of his way. Never went over specials and didn't ask for drinks. Had a window seat and watched the gators while we ate. That actually was the highlight of the meal.

We have been going for years and never thought about spilling the beans on Chestnut Hills but everyone we take loves the place. The bar is small and seats are hard to come by so come early for happy hour. My girlfriend loves a glass of house wine, shrimp and grits and I like the prime rib sliders. They have... More

Good food and drink selections at reasonable prices for happy hour. They need to allow some tables in a portion of the dining room to get away from the noise (cannot hear yourself think).

There was something Authentic about this place on the inside. It appears to be family owned and operated, which gave it a homey feel, and the waterside view provides a restful experience. All in all the food was just okay. We ordered the imperial shrimp -- nothing special here, in fact it tasted like it had been recently thawed out... More

Second time in two years we have been to the Sunday brunch. It is a buffet. Some of the items are very good. Some average. My wife liked the peel and eat shrimp. Really loved the fruit nut cobbler. Prime rib, mac and cheese, and sausage was very good. I was dissapointed with the seafood. I really would say that... More

Very nice restaurant with great meals and efficient service. Prices are a little above nearby places, but not unusual for good food at a more upscale place. Don't miss the alligator sunning in the pond outside the windows in the main dining room. Ask your hotel about as free appetizer coupon, and enjoy the fresh baked butter breads.

If you are looking for a good Sunday Brunch try this one. Everything is kept well stocked and fresh. Everything from breakfast food to fresh oysters and peel and eat shrimp, quail to ham, beef steak sliced to order to oriental and American foods, good desserts. View of the pond with ducks and many turtles, excellent.
