Excellent food. The best Mexican food I've tasted. I love the chimichanga lunch. Dam that was good. This is a must if you are in Myrtle beach.

Really terrific service. Don't expect hospitality, if you're not an Mexican. Food they serve awkward, you feel the bad smell and can taste bad oil.

We ate here during lunch and another time for dinner. For lunch I had the green sauce enchilada which was advertised as spicy hot. I love spicy food and it was spicy and the flavor was great. For dinner I had the jumbo chicken burrito special also very good. My wife had a taco salad both times. I'll go back... More

I anxiously await this meal every year and it never disappoints! I literally close my eyes while eating it to savor every bite. I could eat the Burritos Deluxe everyday!

Well I wanted a nice dinner with my family and thought since the location in Soccaste was great this one should be too. I was VERY wrong. The waitress didn't understand English well and didn't understand what we where saying so we had to point to the things we wanted. It took our food 47 min to get to us... More

I would never eat at El Cerro Grande again. The hostess was nice enough, the table she sat us at was dirty and the seats were sticky. I asked about it and pointed at the dirty cup and trash, she never came over to clean it so I cleaned it myself. The food was gross! There were no vegetarian options... More

My husband said that his Beef Fajitas were better than our local favorite Mexican restaurant. My chimis were also good. Only complaint was the booth seating. The back rest is very unusual and was uncomfortable.

Food was good and plentiful at reasonable price. Service was excellent. Mexican beers on tap or in bottle. Good place for simple meal and not overcrowded.

By asking the locals and looking up best Mexican restaurant in Myrtle Beach this is the place to be. El Cerro Grande was very clean and eye appealing. Service was great and I never asked for a refil on a beverage or more chips. We were there before five PM however. This is happy hour where the drinks were strong... More

Enjoyed the food, the service was excellent. Would have given 5 stars, but really felt kind of dirty. Didn't smell of food when I walked in, just chemicals. Other than that, could tell the food was fresh and made there not canned or bagged.
