This was my second trip to the Chesapeake House and it was ever as bit as great as my first trip! We had about a 30 minute wait for a table which was no problem at all. The service was great, could not ask for better service. I had the flounder which was flaky and had a wonderful flavor. And... More

After a horrific meal at a buffet the night before, we decided to eat here. It was a hundred times better and less than half the price. Had the mahi mahi catch of the day for $17. Was cooked very well. Hush puppies, cinnamon rolls and bread was very good. Had no room for dessert. Afterwards, went outside and looked... More

Every year we make it a point to go to Chesapeake House. Love the cinnamon rolls in the bread basket, and the hushpuppies are good also. I had salmon ... it was grilled perfectly. Always a great meal there!

Good Restaurant. The food was very well done and the Cinnamon Rolls were EXCELLENT! Great service topped off a great meal, but we never did get to see the alligators. :)

We make a point to go there every year and we are never disappointed! They have great baked goods (cinnamon rolls and hush puppies) and the view of the turtles is entertaining!

I can't say enough good things about the Chesapeake house restaurant. My husband and myself and my mom visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. It was on a recommendation from a co-worker and he was spot on. We were there a few minutes after the restaurant opened and there was already a line out the door. Usually... More

My husband and I were looking so forward to having a delicious seafood dinner and when we saw all the cars at this restuarant we were sure that it should be good. So disappointing! We ordered flounder and salmon, It seems that anyone could prepare flounder to be delicious but whatever that fish was, it was terrible.. It could not... More

Some out of town friends chose this place to meet us for dinner. Even though we went early (5:30), we still had to wait about 30 minutes (they'd said 20 mins.). That said, the meals were very good, although I was disappointed they did not have a Caesar salad on the menu, which I prefer to a house salad. The... More

Really good and consistent for years. The fried food is not too heavy and greasy. Shrimp and deviled crab are great. They give huge portions on the crab legs. Te fish stew really is awesome. Crab bisque was good as well. Service is always very good!
