We go there at least once during our visits. It is so much better than the overcooked overfried buffets. They bring a bread basket with a variety of breads that makes the trip worth it. I look the grilled shrimp and my husband always gets the crab cakes. The soup is great if you like fish. The restaurant is located... More

Once again we have enjoyed dining at Chesapeake House in North Myrtle Beach. Ate the featured salmon on Friday night and returned on Saturday night for the seafood combo plate. The food here is delicious. The hushpuppies, bread and cinnamon buns the waiter brings out to get you started are delicious. Also enjoyed their $1 cup of fish stew. You... More

Several of my wife and my favorite places were closed for the winter, so we decided to try Chesapeake House for the first time. During the Spring and Fall the parking lot is usually jammed, so I was delighted to get a good parking space and an immediate table. I had the seafood platter and my wife had one of... More

We are in Myrtle Beach for vacation this week. On Sunday we went to Chestnut Hill.It was a fabulous experience. They recommended the Chesapeake House (which they also own). Since we had such a good experience at the Chestnut hill location we went to the Chesapeake House on Tuesday evening. The food was wonderful. I ordered the Alaskian Crab legs.... More

Wife, friends and I went here for supper the night before Thanksgiving. All four of us thought our meals were terrific. There were so many scallops on my plate that I nearly couldn't finish them. In addition, a cup of the she-crab soup was larger than some bowls I have had at other places. Everyone gets a small cup of... More

Love the homemade bread, huspuppies and cinnamon rolls they bring to the table. Also, the best fish stew that comes with your meal.

Ate with a group of 12 golfers with a variety of expectations and requirements, and as usual the Chesapeake House came through. I had the cold boiled shrimp and it was delicious. But it's what comes with the meal that makes it special - homemade hush puppies and sweet rolls, a salad, and a bowl of fish stew that is... More

My family has been coming here since I was a little girl. My husband and I decided to go there tonight while on a trip for our anniversary. The atmosphere was very peaceful and quiet and we had a table with a view of the water in back. The fish stew was our main reason for going there and it... More
