Some better than others

Dined on a Friday evening looking for soft shell crabs. Found them here and they were really good, so was the salmon. The seafood platters were ok and the drinks were good. Service was the best part along with the hush puppies. We also enjoyed the cinnamon rolls provided right at the start.

We come here every year and we have always been happy with our meal and our service. We get there for the early bird special and get a seat at the window so we can see the alligators and turtles. This is our favorite restaurant at Myrtle Beach.

The hubby and I are on vacation. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the seafood at the place voted locally as #1 for seafood. The flounder did not have much taste. I'm not sure it was actually flounder. The shrimp was good but not the best I ever had. The deviled crab was good but not much crab as the... More

I've eaten seafood as my main source of protein for the last 30 years, I'm always excited to try seafood when traveling on the coast. This spot was recommended highly by the resort I was staying. The food was bland, had a very watery taste. Walking in I asked the hostess about the crab, she shook her head "no". The... More

The food was very good and some items were not something you would find in other seafood restaurants. If you are on a special diet - need things broiled, no butter, don't go since the waiter we had, Dane, said they can't do any special orders - he didn't even ask - and one of our meals had to be... With the decor and architecture, the restaurant had a perfect setting after a long day at the beach. The food was just wonderful and the waiter was superb. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and what could and couldn't be done by way of special/custom orders from my kids. Get in around 5pm or soon after and the wait... More

Calabash style seafood, great service and a nice view while dining, makes this restaurant one of the best in SC....The fresh assorted bread basket with hush puppies is to die for and a varied wine list, which is why it is such a favorite spot for the locals and guests alike!!!!! We started with a shrimp coctail, a super fresh... More

Quick waiter...that my teenage daughters thought was cute so I guess that makes my review a 5..lol We ordered crab legs, lobster, steak, and shrimp. Perfect portions, great presentation, and delicious! Highly recommend!

My husband & I visited Myrtle Beach the end of March celebrating our #47 anniversary and we always like to treat ourselves to our first dinner after we arrive by going to the Chesapeake House for a great meal! We love the fish stew! Upon arrival, we stopped to take some outside photos of the pond out back with the... More

You place your drink order, they place your drink on the table along with a basket of breads. They take your order, your salad is tossed on the table and before you draw another breath, there's your entree. Not at all relaxing or enjoyable. I never got to the salad until after the entree, and it was hard to enjoy... More
