On our last trip to Myrtle Beach, my husband surprised me with dinner at The Library Restaurant. We both had the New York Strip w/ veggies and tableside ceasar salad. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

An extraordinary place - what a find. And I did it with the help of Trip Advisor.
I have never been to a restaurant where I have seen the owner work so hard to ensure that everything was perfect. Shad and his people did an incredible job with a menu that was beautiful. My duck with black cheeries was to...

Wonderful "dining experience"! The best food, best service First rate all the way! Professional staff without the "stuffy" atmosphere. The waiter prepared the best Caesar salad tableside. I had the Steak Diane prepared tableside by the ownder and it was the best I ever had. The steak was cut with my fork. My wife raved about her Veal and Artichokes....

Have been visiting Myrtle Beach with my ladies foursome for at least 10+years and The Library is by far the BEST restaurant so far. We had an awesome dinner and really enjoyed all the extra special touches, drinks..... loved talking to the owner about Cooperstown and the Otasaga. Service was precise and friendly. We will absolutely schedule this restaurant on...

My family and friends (8 of us) booked this restaurant because of the great reviews. Well for us it was the most expensive restaurant we ate at with the most overrated boring food of the week. I would definitely not return here. We were extremely disappointed . We even found the service a bit pretentious. Save your money there are...

Food is traditional french large size portions that a be shared by two like others say here nothing fancy but staff is very sociable and friendly. Coffee here is out of this world good but very strong and bold. Overall a great...

The ambience, service and food (presentation and menu items) take you back in time a few decades, okay several (1970s). Bow tie clad, professional gentleman waiters make your visit charming. The food was very good, traditional French, nothing fancy, but good size portions. Old fashioned table side service - we enjoyed the cherries jubilee, flames and all!
I went with young children, but I wouldn't recommend it for young children unless they are used to fancy restaurants that do not have children's menu. (My kids occasionally love to do something really formal, but not all kids will.) The food was delicious; I recommend the duck and the sweetbreads. The desserts, although very good, sound fancier than they...
