This restaurant is a great dining experience. Wonderful wine selection, fabulous food, and great ambiance. My husband and I eat here anytime we visit the beach. The prime rib and Caesar made at the table are our favorites. Nice quiet dining experience.

We go here for the elegance. It's well worth the experience. Definitely the best the beach has to offer.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary there and I could not have asked for a better place to do it. We were seated in a nice secluded booth and the atmosphere was very cozy and romantic. Our waiter Orion was awsome, he made made us feel at home and was very personable. We had the Chateaubriand Bouqetiere which is cooked right... More

Had no idea what kind of place this was on our first day at Myrtle Beach. Very fancy and I felt underdressed. Food was excellent but way too much of it. Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. Prices were high.

Happy Hour! When have you last heard of that!! Well, we just visited during the 5 PM -- hour and enjoyed a grand time! We sat in the bar in comfortable seats -- there were 5 of us. We ordered cocktails and other beverages along with 6 different appetizers and desserts and still came out for under $100! The lollipop... More

We've been coming to Myrtle Beach for years now and had passed Thoroughbreds many times but not gone in. This year, since it was just hubby and I, we gave it a try and are we glad we did. The menu offers many food selections for all kinds of tastes. For appetizers we had the Caprese Salad and the Sea... More

Thoroughbreds has always been a list of places to go! It definitely met up its expectations. We had a delightful time with our server Lisa and the food was GREAT! We had the duck tenderloin and the tuna, which was both very tasty. We were trying to ration our salad and bread and save some room for our entree and... More

Went to Thoroughbreds on our Myrtle Beach vacation for hubby's birthday. the service was excellent. the food was terrible. My $40 steak was dry as can be. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. Their prices are way too high. It is not worth your time or money!

We took brought friends here as our guests. The service was a bit tardy and the food was not very special except for one thing, The plates were astoundingly hot - ridiculously so. Anyone with any knowledge of proper cooking will tell you that putting delicately cooked food (fish, lamb) on a very hot plate will just keep it cooking... More

CaptainA, Thank you for writing a review of our restaurant. I apologize that your plates were too hot when they arrived to your table. We keep our plates under a heat lamp so that the food does not lose temperature on the way to your table. I have shown this review to our executive chef who will regulate the length... More

The food is good and the service is great, but wasn't thrilled about the decor and lighting. I guess they think that keeping it dark offers a cozy and elegant feel, but they need to lighten it up just a bit so at least you can see what you're eating. Thank goodness it was good otherwise I would have really... More
