Just finished eating at this fine place. The food was excellent quality and delicious. I had the Filet it was cooked to perfection and very moist and had a great flavor. The Salad was great fresh greens and homemade dressing. The Cream Spinach was fabulous good texture and no overpowering spice. The Triple Crown dessert was not too sweet and... More

My husband and I love to eat. We started a blog about the places we eat while on vacation. This is one of our favorites. Food was wonderful, but the waitress didn't seemed interested in telling us about specials, her favorites on the menu. She did not have the personality needed to be a great waitress. We love the food... More

Although we live in Pennsylvania, we own a condo in Myrtle Beach and have visited many of the local restaurants. Thoroughbreds is one of our very favorites. Myrtle Beach is very crowded in the summer and dining out is not always a relaxing affair, but we have always had a good experience there. Although well-behaved children are welcome, this is... More

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary along with our son, daughter in law and grandson. We had never been to this restaurant, but have heard many great reviews. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to WOW us with the service and food. Josh was not only accommodating to the adults but great with our... More

We had not been to the restaurant in about five years but I am happy to say it was great five years ago and it still is. They have the whole package - great food, staff and atmosphere. Our waiter, Tommy was very knowledgable and his suggestions were very helpful. This is a perfect place for a quiet elegant dinner.... More

Several rooms for dining and really quiet. Pleasant servers. It was a bit pricey but I am glad we went to see what it was like. The food was good but I like to be able to see what I am eating, Prefer Joe's Grille for atmosphere and food.

Thoroughbreds LOCATION/AMBIANCE ** Kings Highway ** Between Magnolia Plaza and The Galleria ** Very nice restaurant, with an upscale atmosphere ** Multiple dining rooms with fireplaces and dark wood throughout – very classy. See the restaurant's website for photos and a virtual tour - it will give you a very good idea of the ambiance. ** Went here based on... More

The meal was great, the atmosphere of the restaurant was better. The staff was friendly and made the great meal even better. The only reason that I am not giving it an excellent rating was that we had a great meal, but we were so full we did not have room for desert, and my group considered that one of... More

This was a very classy place to go for a special occasion. A bit pricey but descent! The only problem we had was we ordered our 14oz ribeye as med well and it came well done and tasted burnt so if you order the steak you may want to tell them to leave some pink inside! The service, bread, salad, crabcake, cheesecake, atmosphere was... More
