fine dining in myrtle beach

By far the best restaurant in North Myrtle Beach. The food is fabulous. I had the onion soup and the coffee infused filet. Service is fantastic, wine list is superb. My wife had a fish dish and it was expertly prepared. Love this place. So will you!

I had dined at Thoroughbred's a couple of years ago and enjoyed the quiet ambiance and the prime rib. I chose this place over NY Prime mainly because of the atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was good, but not exceptional---not for the amount we spent ($250 for three of us). The steaks I've had at Ny Prime... More

Look no further for a fabulous steak restaurant. I had the prime rib (3 cuts to choose from). With everyone at the table , we had the crab cakes, double lobster tails, and a rib eye. Everyone raved about their meal! Even my son who only got chicken fingers. Normal selection for a kids menu but no french fries at... More

Food was good. Enjoyed a few apps at the bar - shrimp cocktail happy hour deal was great. But once we sat down it went downhill fast. The waiter seemed very distracted and didn't bring bread or refill water glasses, screwed up drink orders and some elements of our entrees. It was not at all crowded and we waited about... More

My wife and I were looking for the ideal place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. With so many choices in the Myrtle Beach area, we ultimately made our decision less than four hours before dinner. I called to make reservations and was asked by the reservationist if we would be celebrating a special occasion. When I told her that we... More

My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate our one year anniversary at Thoroughbreds restaurant on Thursday night. The minute I walked through the door I knew I made a great choice. The glimmer in Chelsea's eye said it all! Our hostess was polite and professional on the walk to our seats. I had the chefs special, 16 oz coffee crusted... More

The food was delicious!! The atmosphere was beautiful! I ordered the pork chop which I never do at restaurants because they are usually over cooked and dry but the pork chop on the menu sounded so good I thought I would take a chance, it was AMAZING!!!! We took our 2 kids (17 & 10) and they were treated so... More

We visited Thoroughbreds for the first time and enjoyed a great meal in a very traditional atmosphere. The server, originally from Croatia, was very attentive and efficient. The appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops was accompanied with a sweet chili sauce and was very tasty. The house salad served with the house poppy dressing was very fresh with a nice variety... More

The meal and service were fantastic. We didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us right away. Not crowded at first but later on...the crowds did come. We ate on a Tuesday night. My parents came to visit me so I took them for a nice but relaxed meal. We had been there before and they opted not... More
