Best restaurant in Myrtle Beach

This is my favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The service and food are unbelievably good and its a little pricey but not too bad. If you go to this restaurant request to be seated in the Library. If it's a special occassion ask for the table in front of the fire place in the Library. you will... read more

I went to thourbreads to have a nice steak dinner and got way more than I had expected. My servers name was Michael Molner and he was nothing short of a breath of fresh air. Not only way he very knowledgeable of every wine on the list but he had a detailed description of the background of where it came... More

I was in a tour group that arrived late due to traffic snarls. The restaurant seated our group quickly. Salads and rolls were served after beverage orders were taken. We had several choices from fish, chicken, and beef. The steak with béarnaise sauce was my choice, served with mashed potatoes and mixed veg. Dessert was cheesecake. Their wine list wasn't... More

une_voyageur, Thank you for writing such a pleasant review of our restaurant. We lead The Grand Strand in hosting large dinner groups. We work hard throughout the year to make sure that every tour group is seated promptly, served efficiently, and leaves with their expectations exceeded. After long hours on the road, most people just want a nice, relaxing dinner... More

After having eaten at Thoroughbreds on previous visits to North Myrtle Beach, we decided to give it a try for New Years Eve. They offered a special New Year's Eve menu, as well as their regular menu. My wife and I love Chateaubriand (beef tenderloin for two that the server finishes grilling at the table), and this is one of... More

JPofSC, Thank you for writing such an excellent review of our restaurant. New Year's Eve is one of our busiest nights of the year. I am ecstatic that you chose to spend such a fun holiday with us! Our Chateaubriand is, in my opinion, the best overall entree on our menu for quite a few reasons. As you eluded to... More

We were there New Years Eve which isn't a good time to judge a restaurant. The atmosphere and decor was great. Service was as good as it could be on this night. Our appetizers were disappointing. Shrimp in my wife's Shrimp cocktail was a little musty tasting and my escargot had cold spots in the plate. The center had a... More

I came here with a tour bus. We were seated quickly. We got a delicious salad and bread while we waited for the entrées. The service was polite and prompt. I got salmon. It was fresh and great.

We celebrated our anniversary at Thoroughbreds last week. The service was fine, but food was not up to the par we expect. We ordered duck bites as an appetizer presented in a sweet and spicy chile sauce. The duck bites were over cooked with too much breading and we suspected the chile sauce was straight out of a jar. No... More
