Food was over priced but people were ordering it. Sorry, I've been out plenty and don't just throw the money away like some of these people were doing. Go to Ruth's Chris if high end is your thing. Keep driving...you'll thank me! Plus, the bartender was dropping the f bomb like she was in a cursing contest.

My food was excellent, my children enjoyed playing pool UNTILL the bar maid was using FOUL language which I don't prefer them hearing and just wasn't vary pleasant at all ,I WILL NEVER bring my children again!!!!!!no one should have to subject children in an invirament such as and call it a restaurant!!!! Very dissapointed....:-((

The place doesn't look like much but the food & service is the best on the strand. Andrew was a great waiter upgrading the soup and keeping the drinks full. The scallops were excellent sautéed and the oysters were big and tasty. We ate here twice in the week and will return.

Even though Murrells Inlet is renown for their oyster, Shucker's would give them a run for the money. Fantastic service and great food.

Shuckers on Kings Highway Myrtle Beach is one of my favorite stops. Food is fresh, service is outstanding. Happy Hour prices can not be beat. Great oysters and fresh, fresh horseradish. A++ Mark V Asheville, NC

Visited on June 12th for dinner. We had a dozen raw oysters and I had the mussels marinara and my husband had the fish and chips. Our dinner was great. Place wasn't busy but then it was also only about 6 p.m., early for some people. Our waiter was Anthony and as it turns out he use to live only... More

While I thought the food was good, I was really hoping for a bigger portion. I ordered the fried shrimp basket (which was $11.99) and was served something a 5 year old could eat and still be hungry. With that being said, I still thought the food was good as was the service.

Having been in the restaurant business for over 40 years starting as a dishwasher, a server, a restaurant owner, general manager and now Director of Food &Beverage at a large Myrtle Beach hotel, I rarely complain but in this situation, I feel I must voice my opinion. To start with, the last time I was a Shuckers on Kings Highway... More

When people tell you never to go to a place, they mean it. My boyfriend and I went to The original Shuckers Oyster and Raw Bar over the weekend. It was a Saturday night and most places were busy so we tried this place because it looked like a great place to get a seafood boil and it was not... More

I have been going to Shuckers at least 5-10 times a year for 15 years. Itake family and friends there and tell everyone its the best place for oysters. Today I found a roach crawling on the bar, I told the bartender as it went under the game machine. I am not so naive that I think restaurants don't have... More
