Went there very hungry. I stayed my hunger first on a lot of hot mussels and clams and shrimps etc. Then went for heavier seafood dishes. After that I looked for the Crab Legs. Ate some of those......people were getting plates and plates of those. After the crab legs, I went for desserts... read more

Buffet are not usually my thing but this place had the freshest food on the buffet and the wait staff was excellent. Very friendly and aware of our needs. I would go here every time.

Our hotel recommended Captain Benjamin's, and we weren't disappointed. The meal was pricy, but it's a buffet, and you get what you pay for. The choice of seafood is extensive. We were told by the server who seated us that this restaurant has its own fleet of boats and brings in the catch fresh. Even If you aren't that big... More

We arrived at opening time which was a mistake. We had to wait a while for some items to be refilled on the lines.

Even with the coupons found all over Myrtle Beach and going early it was still very expensive. Not what I expected. Usually when you spend this much money you are also getting some kind of atmosphere but this was like an old buffet from the 80's. Very noisy despite it being quite empty, server was in no hurry to remove... More

Compared to other buffets we have visited in myrtle, this one was not great . The crab legs were done well , the service was excellent, but the rest of Buffett was average at best. Not a huge variety, and what I did try was not great.

The seafood is perfectly prepared whether is raw, steamed, baked or fried. Loved the crab legs, the oyster Rockefeller, the baked salmon that melts in your mouth. My friends that don't eat seafood had plenty of choices: chicken, sausage, pizza, baby ribs, steaks. We went there on a very special day for us and we were happy to celebrate with... More

As with any buffet, if you are a big eater, this place will not disappoint! Having ribeye steaks along with all the great seafood made the hubby's night!

We came here with my friends to have some seafood. And we loved it!!!!!! Crab legs were juicy and fresh. The variety of seafood was huge: oysters, calamari, shrimps, scallops, clams and much more. We enjoyed dessert bar as well. They even got ice-cream and cheesecake! Wow, that was a lot of food. Staff was friendly and helpful. We defenitely... More
