I go at least once a month to Lil Tokyo, and can't imagine anything better. The sushi chef lets us know what's fresh so we can make a decision (very hard to choose what delicious sushi to try each time). I can't get enough of the Japanese Eggrolls and the Snow-Crab salad, and absolutely love everything that Frankie makes. I... More

We had the pleasure of trying Lil Tokyo on our way to the airport in September We were greeted at the door by friendly staff / the food was prepared quickly and was really quite good. We tried crab cakes for an appetizer and they melted in your mouth. We also had a cocktail similar to A piña colada made... More

We enjoyed our time at the restaurant very much. Our chef was entertaining, and quite skilled. Our food was very delicious and well prepared. I highly recommend the Japanese Egg Rolls, they were awesomely good.

Frankie the sushi chef was amazing. Our hibachi was cooked to perfection not salty like other places, fresh cuts of meat, and vegetables fresh. Their soup, ginger dressing outstanding! No place on the beach beats it but shh its a secret because this is where we go as locals!

Had a great dinner. Party of six, tasty apps (squid and octopus salads were lovely). We all had hibachi dinners. Those that ordered steak or filet mignon they were cooked to order perfectly and the filet melted in your mouth. Fried rice and noodles were good as well. Not salty at all like some places. I forget our chefs name... More

Just had dinner there for 2nd time and really enjoyed it. Although a typical hibachi place the prices are actually pretty reasonable for a Hibachi restaurant and unlike some, the price includes fried rice, noodles and a shrimp appetizer. Food is also pretty good. Chef Billy was appropriately amusing. Overall a good deal! We will return next year.

Lil’ Tokyo Restaurant was our first stop in our week vacation in Myrtle Beach. I can say we started our holidays with the correct foot because having dinner at Lil’ Tokyo was a lot of fun. Bill, our Hibachi Chef, was the star of the night for our two little granddaughters. He made them laugh with all his tricks and... More

Dined here a few nights ago with some friends. It seemed pretty busy for a little hibachi place at the mall but we stayed. The prices seemed high, but I understand its the "show" your paying for. There was no show :( there were no children at the table, but the cook didnt even crack a smile the whole time.... More

We have tried this place for both Hibachi and Sushi at the bar. Excellent drinks, excellent service and overall a great place for both. Try it, you'll love it.

Great good. Funny server. Quick service. Average price for Hibachi. Good happy hour deals. And not very crowded like a lot of other places in myrtle beach around dinner time.
