The food was great, it was cooked hybachi style just not in front of us. Which I actually liked better since we were able to talk. We also had plenty of leftovers. I will definitely recommend and will go again.

3rd time was a charm. This is a beautiful place. Out of the way, quiet, and clean. When you pull up after dark it looks closed because of the tinted windows. May I suggest the early bird special between 4p and 6p. The average meal runs about $20 a person. The owners are hands on and the wait staff is very... More

We had a craving for teppanyaki, but did not want a place with the typical "chef show" associated with this style of cooking. This seemed to be the answer. This restaurant is in a strip mall that is located after passing through a residential area-- very 'out of the way' for main Myrtle Beach, but it wasnt hard to find... More

This restaurant is one of the hidden gems in the Grand Strand. It is not along any of the main highways (501, Kings Highway or 17) but very easy to get to. Some reviewers have complained that they do not serve sushi or that you don't get to sit around a hibachi and watch the chef cook in front of... More

Unlike other Japanese restaurants, this one does not serve any sushi. The noodle I ordered was so salty that I couldn't eat it. The chicken from another teppanyaki dish was bland and very tough. The half liter of sake was served sitting in a bowl of hot water. Would not go again ever.

We went to the Tappanyaki House restaurant this year, as when we tried in previous years, it was always full with customers. We tried to go earlier this year and there was room for us. We had to wait that ther were 4 more people, but it's was worthed. We loved the steak and lobster plate. Wonderfull!

The food was great, the service was good, next time I would lean more towards carry out than I would a sitdown dinner, not the fanciest of places but it was nice and clean. When we arrived we were literally the only people in the place! Don't know if that's such a good thing, I noticed a TON of people... More

Really good hibachi style restaurant and reasonably priced. Food was tasty though not complicated. The House Soup was different in a real good way (can't say more, you just have to eat it). And we went when they had wine for 1/2 price if you ordered 2 entrees. Now that was just a gift. The place is 5 to 10... More

We wanted a refreshing change from all the chain restaurants in Myrtle Beach, so we decided to visit this Japanese restaurant due to the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. The service, food, and atmosphere were great. The staff was friendly. The food was of very good quality and the filet was cooked to perfection. Our table ordered the filet and... More

This was our second trip to Myrtle Beach and our second time at Hana Teppanyaki. It is a little off the beaten path but worth the 10 minute trip!! The service is excellent and friendly! The food is even better. Loved every part of it!
