I enjoyed the atmosphere, but was not overly impressed with the food for the price you pay for it. The menu is Caribbean in theme, but the flavor was not strong enough to support the theme. It was very slow when we went and our server seemed less than enthusiastic to be waiting us.

Went out for dinner came here around 11:30. We bought hookah for 20 bucks, they added a shot of orange ginger liquor to the water; very smooth and tasty. Only two other parties there. This could be an awesome place if it was actually utilized but I couldn't care less that it was dead because I wasn't looking to dance.... More

I'm confused by the other reviews? I don't know why you would try to EAT here in the first place? There was nothing about the name "Zulu Lounge" that made me think it was even a restaurant. When I walked in, I got exactly what I thought. Proper lighting for a chill mood, ethereal music, and unique drinks. Bartenders and... More

I don't know how this place stays open. The fact that its so off the road you have to look for it. Whenever I go, there are only 2 to 4 people there the whole time. I agree with other people as far as South African. Yeah that is only b/c of the colors. Food not good. Got the filet and... More

Good as a bar, especially on Thursday nights when it gets pretty jammed up. They have Hookah which is cool. Solid atmosphere inside and not ridiculous prices on drinks or anything like that. They food is below average. They offer some interesting things, but it's not anything you'll want to go back for. But the service here is just awesome... More

I went there with my wife and 3 adult sons. The menu offers something for everyone and is reasonably priced. The service was exceptional. We'd definitely return.

We went to Zulu last Fall and thought it was a great place for "happy hour". Half price for top shelf liquor and all wines. Went back tonight and it was terrible. "Hostess" told us we would have to get our drinks at the bar since there were no wait people working. We intended to have a drink and appetizers,... More

They were out of the first two things I ordered. How about telling me first before I get my hopes up. No mushrooms, then all the sudden they found the mushrooms in the walk in of all places! No unsweetened tea...c'mon. We were the only folks in the house, so the server made several passes to find out if we... More

We wanted to like this place--we really did. Wife and I came here with a coupon I found on the web. Supposed to be South African, so we were expecting something out of the ordinary. Atmosphere is nice and service was VERY friendly and attentive. As for the food, this place needs to figure out who they are--they're apparently confused,... More
