Mako's restaurant was not too far from our hotel and they have EXCELLENT food! We were lucky enough to get there for Happy Hour, their staff was very kind and courteous. Prices were GREAT! We had the Pot for 2 which included 1lb shrimp, 1 lb crab legs, russet potatoes, corn on cobb, and sausage for 34.99. It was the... More

While on vacation with some friends we were looking for a place to have a drink within walking distance to our hotel. Mako's was such a hidden treasure. We ate here 5 times during the course of our stay and NEVER had a bad meal! The fishbowl drinks are such a good deal! The staff was so friendly and welcoming!... More

On a recent visit we were staying closeby and were looking for quick bite and drinks in a v casual place that we could walk to. We arrived 1/2 hr before happy hour ended and our waitress came fairly quickly so we could take advantage of 4$ frozen drinks.(which were a bargain). If you sit outside on the decks, you'll... More

We were walking down the beach and saw Makos and thought we would stop in for some lunch and drinks!!! I'm glad we did! We sat outside on the upper deck....What a view!! The bar and outside eating area is rather small but it never seemed to get too crowded as people came and went at different times. There is... More
