We went and got the blackened grouper, and pick 2 combo, which was fried flounder and oysters. Also got crab dip for an appetizer. All of it was good.

It was nice to have a break from everything fried or the same 3 types of fish choices. There was a lot to pick from at Mr Fish but we were a little disappointed that most of it was not local. In the end, fresh it what rules and that it certainly was. We had seared scallops that were delicious,... More

The fried oyster and crab balls are disappointing. They were not crunchy and I could not really taste the crab in the crab balls. However, ironically enough, the chicken quesadilla at Mr. Fish was fabulous. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. I'd go back for the chicken quesadilla any day.

This is not one of those fried platter kind of places. The menu is large and they have lots of selection. This was our first visit and I want to back again and try different things. The service was very slow and half our party got their food then it was literally 30 minutes before the rest of us got... More

My sister and I have been to Myrtle Beach several times now and have tried a number of restaurants - looked particularly for ones overlooked the water. The scenery is always fun to see - however, this year we decided to try other places, just to check out the seafood. Well, Mr Fish had a very good rating on Trip... More

Great spot for family seafood dining. Favorite dishes were the lightly breaded shrimp, scallops, oysters... Stick yo basics and you will not be disappointed. Hush puppies and sweet tea were awesome as well. They have an old location so make sure you have the restaurant and not the market.

My wife had a crab sandwich and it was unbelievably delicious. But, as for my two children and I, well, just read the title. BTW, don't get anything made out of potato, i.e., French fries, chips, etc.

Sought out Mr. Fish after a great experience on our last visit a few years ago. The restaurant has moved to a new, bigger building that better suits the quality of the food and service. We came in with out kids for a late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant was quiet and we were lucky enough to have Jay as our... More

So good last year I had to go again and take a friend. I am so happy she wasn't disappointed. We had Shrimp and grits appetizer then shared crab with smoked gouda Mac n cheese and blacken shrimp plate. Yum PS blackberry wasabi sauce is Sooooo good!

This was recommended to us by a local and we were very happy we came here. They were running a special on snow crab legs. It was the broken or leftover legs but still delicious. They advertised it as snow crab but we had a fair amount of king crab mixed in (we were fine with that). Being that it... More
