Gem in the middle of ordinary

Have eaten here multiple occasions and you can't beat the authentic food. The family owned spot is comfortable and affordable. Do not miss the chance to visit.

It's smack-daP center of MB, and it's very good, a home-style dinner with the family bringing it out to you. We enjoyed the meal because we are vegetarian/vegan, but they do offer delicious meat dishes, like goat or chicken or other farm-yard animals.

I had dinner last night with 14 friends. I hadn't had Ethiopian before so my review of the food won't count. I'll just say neither I nor the 13 others were impressed with the food. My primary comment will be on the ambiance. There wasn't any. what really ruined our experience was that this place is NOT air conditioned!!!

We love Ethiopian food and we're surprised to find a restaurant do close to the beach. The restaurant is okay. You have to order a lot to get what would normally come with a standard feast, since they don't offer one. The good was pretty bland, even the items labeled spicy, and the injera was flat tasting, without that good... More

My family loves this place. The food and service are both excellent and the the food is so good unique. This restaurant is a vegetarian paradise. Also excellent meat and fish dishes. The Ethiopian bread and soup and beer were superb.Wish I could eat here every day. Please visit it is an excellent restaurant.

Wonderful food prepared with love and served with a smile! Redi-et is always much anticipated whenever we are anywhere near the Myrtle Beach area. We clean our plates then get a to-go order to bring home. Yeah, we like it!

Such erroneous reviews should be removed. It could destroy a business unfairly and that is horrible. We must be careful w reviews and sites should monitor them for accuracy.

OK, I have no idea if this is real Ethiopian food or not. However, I've NEVER had anything like this, and I'm a bit of a foodie nerd. The outside...well, it just looks a bit questionable. In addition, when you walk in, you will see mismatched chairs, paint that has been peeled...a slightly worn out environment. Don't walk out. Stay... More

A friend talked me into trying this place. Granted it wasn't busy at all, but I was open to a new experience (and very nervous having never in my life eaten Ethiopian food) This is one place I highly recommend due to it being reasonable, and very good. The food and service was the bomb and for a first timer-I... More

In MYR for one night prior to flying out, and looking for something unusual. We certainly found it! We sat near a couple, the husband was Ethiopian, and offered a lot of insight into the dishes available. We followed his advice and had two traditional dishes, both beef-based. The food was excellent! Don't be put off by the surroundings: the... More
