We love Ethiopian food and we're surprised to find a restaurant do close to the beach. The restaurant is okay. You have to order a lot to get what would normally come with a standard feast, since they don't offer one. The good was pretty bland, even the items labeled spicy, and the injera was flat tasting, without that good... More

Wonderful food prepared with love and served with a smile! Redi-et is always much anticipated whenever we are anywhere near the Myrtle Beach area. We clean our plates then get a to-go order to bring home. Yeah, we like it!

Such erroneous reviews should be removed. It could destroy a business unfairly and that is horrible. We must be careful w reviews and sites should monitor them for accuracy.

OK, I have no idea if this is real Ethiopian food or not. However, I've NEVER had anything like this, and I'm a bit of a foodie nerd. The outside...well, it just looks a bit questionable. In addition, when you walk in, you will see mismatched chairs, paint that has been peeled...a slightly worn out environment. Don't walk out. Stay... More

A friend talked me into trying this place. Granted it wasn't busy at all, but I was open to a new experience (and very nervous having never in my life eaten Ethiopian food) This is one place I highly recommend due to it being reasonable, and very good. The food and service was the bomb and for a first timer-I... More

In MYR for one night prior to flying out, and looking for something unusual. We certainly found it! We sat near a couple, the husband was Ethiopian, and offered a lot of insight into the dishes available. We followed his advice and had two traditional dishes, both beef-based. The food was excellent! Don't be put off by the surroundings: the... More

Just as their website states, “Try us once, you will be glad you did.” http://www.redi-et.com/menu/menu.html In a tourist-based locale that is drowning in the same-old, same-old---- weak seafood offerings, expensive buffets, and chain or fast food restaurants---- this is SUCH a refreshing change-of-pace! A solid, original, affordable restaurant, with attentive customer service! This was our first time trying Ethiopian food.... More

This was my first time eating Ethiopian food, and I LOVED it! My husband and I have always been fans of Indian food, but I think this was much better and even more affordable. Also, I have never seen Ethiopian wine served anywhere else, which was delicious - made of honey, like mead. After eating poor-to-mediocre "seafood" meals at other... More

I am love Ethiopean food and was pleasantly surprised to find this unique restaurant in a town awash with chain and fast food restaurants. The food was excellent, the injera perfect, and the dabo terrific with just the right amt. of honey and spices. The after dinner coffee was presented with burning incense. The coffee was so good that I... More
