I am love Ethiopean food and was pleasantly surprised to find this unique restaurant in a town awash with chain and fast food restaurants. The food was excellent, the injera perfect, and the dabo terrific with just the right amt. of honey and spices. The after dinner coffee was presented with burning incense. The coffee was so good that I... More

I took my wife out to Redi-et for our date night. In truth, we have a difficult time finding good, original, restaurants in Myrtle Beach. My wife leans toward the vegetarian side and eats a gluten free diet. There were so many options on the menu for her! We both loved the meal and the hospitality was excellent. We're coming... More

Very pleased to find an Ethiopian restaurant in Myrtle Beach. My friend and I shared the meat combo and the vegetarian platters. It was perfect for 2 though we weren't quite able to finish all of it. I didn't find the food quality to be as good as Ethiopian places I have experienced in DC and Seattle, but it was... More

Be prepared to experience Ethiopia if you just want American food with American flavors move on. The dishes lean heavy toward vegetarian fare. Don't be afraid, it becomes clear how you can subsist on vegetables alone, the dishes leave you satisfied in the belly and the pallet. The spinach and the split pea dishes were jam up good. They lean... More

Very tasty Ethiopian food. The bread with chile sauce served before the meal was just the right amount of spice. The waitress was very helpful, steering us toward or away from more or less spicy dishes, depending on what each person in our party wanted. Very nice departure from the norm.

Wonderful food. Really fabulous. Lots of choices. I am a picky eater, but have never sampled any Ethiopian food that was less than phenomenal. A plethora of veggie options, and all are vegan. Plenty of stuff for meat eaters, too. The ambiance and room temperature are a bit less than optimal, but once the food arrives, (expediently), you won't even... More

This was our first time trying Ethiopian food. My boyfriend and I love Thai and Indian, so we thought we would love this, but it just didn't have enough flavor for us. The salad was warm which was kinda weird. I liked the potatoes. The honey wine is extremely sweet, even sweeter than Moscato. The atmosphere was alright, for downtown... More

The soup was amazing! The food (There was a lot of it!) was superb! Strongly recommend the Honey wine (We ended up leaving with a bottle!). Definitely a place for us to revisit on a future trip!

Our family of four loved this place. Wonderful flavors, a great introduction to new food. From the number of Ethiopian - looking people eating there, it must be authentic. Nothing fancy about the decor, which suited us.I ordered the samboas (?), and all vegetarian. Everyone else had beef, chicken, or lamb. All the dishes were good. Make sure you eat... More

I was pleasantly surprised when my daughter and I drove passed this Ethiopian Restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The food was outstanding: the collards, salad and lentils was spiced to perfection. The Injera was the best. I loved scooping up my food. Actually, its like eating soft taco but with flavor. I could easily become a vegan. I fell in love... More
