We searched out Bimini's Oyster Bar on a recent visit to Myrtle Beach and boy are we glad we did. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall just off Hwy 17 in the far northern part of Myrtle Beach. It doesn't look like much, but the food is fantastic! We had their steamed oysters and they were some... More

After waiting about 30 minutes for a table we were seated in the fire escape doorway, pretty sure this is against fire code in my state. Therefore my dining experience consisted of eating expensive food in a little corner where I was looking at the fire escape door and a dirty wall that was dripping grease. A mural on the... More

The hotel sends "everyone" to Bimini's - because it's not a chain - so they pack the place full. Plastic lawn chairs and large tables, and be prepared to wait. Once we got in, we were seated at a very large table, and our waiter was excellent. We ordered the oysters Rockefeller and then split one of the large pick... More

Not sure how this place got the ratings it has recieved. Its a step above a dive bar in a run down strip mall with parking in "the vacant lot next door". There r a lot of kids here but it is a bar. The waiter was way too busy, forgot one of our dinners and was nowhere to be... More

I visited this spot because of the glowing reviews. I took my sons(5+10) and while the food was good, it's not a kid friendly spot. My waiter was awesome and I would definitely recommend it for Adults only!

Best seafood I've had in Myrtle in years. Conch fritters like Key West, and blackened Mahi were amazing. Oysters were great. Mahi fingers, and 1/4 pound fried fish were great too. Tasty hush puppies and good wings. As for the recent review saying it was nothing special - if you want Calabash go there instead. Fried seafood is fried seafood...... More

Read so many glowing reviews on Bimini's so we went. Calabash shrimp basket appetizer.. Waitress didn't know what Calabash was.. She said it was popcorn shrimp. It was fried.. Nothing fancy or tasty. Side salad.. Basic. Flounder.. Was fried.. Didn't think much of it although the tarter sauce on the table made it tasty. Scallops were good.. Sautéed. Hush puppies... More

Every year when we come to Myrtle Beach we try and make a stop here. Went with another couple tonight and the food was great. unbecoming décor. Wood tables with plastic chairs. A roll of paper towel for napkins. This time we went early because last year it was crowded and noisy. Great service from beginning to end. Other guests... More

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and great service. The famous fish platter was as good as I have ever had. Will definitely go back over and over again.

We'd been looking at all the seafood buffet places knowing that was what we didn't want. Tried this place after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor--glad we did! Truly a locals place with fresh seafood. Our table had shrimp tacos, crab cakes, crab legs and clam chowder...it was all good. The hush puppies are light and crisp, just how I... More
