We walked into this restaurant expecting a little cafe serving semi decent food! We'll...what a treat. The restaurant was charming and elegant, wine selection very nice, but between the food and the service not only do we give this restaurant five stars, my husband and I are going back tomorrow evening to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! Don't miss this place, small but good. Make reservations or miss out. Good service along with great menu makes Ciao's the best in town. The four of us had an assortment of menu item's all were delicious. What makes a good Italian restaurant? Good bread and great sauce, they have both!!

We went for lunch after seeing the ratings and we agree it is the best. Great service and we were given time to finish each course. Our appetizer was mozzarella cares which is cheese and tomatoes in a Italian type liquid. We shared a huge Caesar salad which was really good. We both ordered the cheese ravioli with meat sauce.... From the appetizer to the dessert and espresso, the food was just so good. Service was good. I can imagine some might complain about the prices but this would be an average price above the Mason-Dixon Line. I do not mind paying for a delicious meal. My husband got veal and I had a special of the day-bass. All was... More

There was four of us that ate here and the food and service was excellent. We live close to the North End in Boston and eat there quite often. I can say that each meal at Ciao was excellent. I would suggest you call for reservations, they serve beer and wine only.

This restaurant from the outside does not look impressive, but it's beautiful inside and the food and service are wonderful. I'll definitely come again when I visit this area next time.

We had a really good experience. On a Thursday evening, I called at 6:00 and got a 7:15 reservation. Arriving a little early, we were seated on time. Service was prompt, excellent, but not over bearing. Good wine selection. Special hot pepper stuffed veal appetizer followed by swordfish with piccata sauce was delicious. A little loud, but that was mostly... More
