Being in the mood for Mexican food, we used trip advisor to find El Cerro Grande. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. We ordered the pitcher of margaritas which was a mistake. They were obviously made from a mix and very weak. We still drank them though! I would follow the other reviewers' suggestions and order a top shelf... More

We we go to our beach house, this is one of the first places we plan to eat for dinner. Their fajitas are always delicious. We always order their white cheese with our tortillas. The staff are always smiling & friendly.

I am a regular and have been for many years. It had always been a great experience for me, but after tonight, I am never going back. My friend and I,(16 and 17 years old), were checked on constantly by a staff member that wasn't even our server. He asked our age, our names, shook our hands, patted my friend... More

We enjoyed this restaurant. It's a bit better than your standard Mexican. The service was very friendly. Lots of chips and salsa while we waited for our food. Kids portions are big and cost $5.75. Adult food is around $8-$12 per entree (give or take). We enjoyed our Cowboy Chimichanga and Carnitas Chimichanga. Very tasty and better presentation than most... More

Visited this restaurant last September purely by accident. It was sooo good that my husband & I purposely look for this time around and was very glad we found it! Very fresh and delious, hot and plenty of food! And don't forget the homemade FLAN, fantastic! Would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food here was very good, especially the rice. My chicken chimichangas were full of meat in a tasty sauce. The only negative was that the wait for the food, once ordered, was very long.

Warm chips given right away from friendly, personable waiter. Food really good. No complaints here! Would go again anytime.

The quality/quantity/price mix at this restaurant makes it a very good value. We ate here for the first time in December, & will definitely be back. They had good deals on drinks as well, and a good selection of food. The only complaint was that my wife's chimichanga wasn't crispy, but those *were* part of a new menu it seems... More

We had driven by this restaurant for years and never stopped in because they allowed smoking inside. They no longer do. We had dinner there last night. The service was outstanding, our waiter was very attentive to our needs and very polite. The food was some of the best Mexican we have ever had. We both had the enchilada combo... More
