Great home cooking

It has been a while since visiting Processer's and we were not disappointed. The buffet is always clean and fresh and the food is great. The place was packed with the normal lunch crowd but the service was top notch.

Service was excellent but the food was so so. The ribs are nothing special at all swimming in a watery BBQ sauce. The pulled pork was very vinegary tasting The fried chicken was very good. The price was about right for not that great of a buffet, brown beans from a can, the fried shrimp are small but I liked them.A... More

We couldn't wait to get some real Southern B.B.Q. when we got to town. Prossers logo is a pig of course, and it's everywhere. It's on the sign,it's on the building,it's on the table tops, it's everywhere but on the buffet. We went last night and the only B.B.Q. item on the entire buffet was some chewy pulled pork....that's it.... More

Going to Myrtle Beach is like a maze of food and choices.I am sad to read some of the reviews of this great place.I go here simply because it is more than a BBQ Joint, the lunch and Dinner Buffett are a combo of homestyle Cooking and great Seafood, clams ,fish.shrimp,oysters,fried.The option alone of getting these items with out breaking the bank... When I get to Myrtle Beach the first thing I want to do is eat barbecue. We head to Prosser's right away. I like the country cooking. This is the kind of food I remember when I was a child. The food is always fresh and there is plenty of it. For me it's a taste of home.

Staff was friendly, food was good, but average. Didn't see where the high ratings were earned. Even accounting for regional differences in BBQ it wasn't exceptional BBQ. Glad to have tried it, but will not return again on next trip.

They are open for breakfast and lunch. We had lunch and it was very good. BBQ meat was tender and juicy. Chicken was done just right and sides were plentiful. Fun and reasonable.

Once again, we had a wonderful lunch at Prossers..The staff there is friendly, the restaurant is easy to find, and the food is always consistently good. This buffet offers a large selection of well made, tasty, fresh food that is the epitome of low country cuisine.Everything from fried chicken, fish, meatloaf, chicken&dumplings, and a multitude of fresh vegetables, to peach... Extremely disappointed since this place got so many good reviews. The food was greasy and the ribs had so much hot sauce and/or spices on it that you could not even taste the pork! It actually set my mouth on fire!! Smoke or pit cook the meat, but let the customer use or not use the sauce they like!! The... More
