Best grilled seafood at the beach

We had a group of 8, and were seated immediately. We all had different kinds of seafood. The consensus was that they have the best scallops and creek shrimp we had. This was our third visit to this place. It is great. The food is delicious, the waitresses are quick and helpful. If you get there before 5:30, there is an early bird menu. I had a ribeye steak with all the trimmings for $14.95. My wife had the shrimp dinner. We ate until we were stuffed and left with a... More

I've been eating at Lee's for 20 years, and tonight's visit was the first disappointing one. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday night, and were pleased that there was no wait, the restaurant definitely was not full. Ordered a bowl of She-Crab Soup (not a cup, a bowl) and the soup was incredibly thin and had less than a... More

Excellent meals with massive amounts of food. Great service too. She had the fried choice of three, Flounder, Scallops and Shrimp with baked potato and cole slaw for $25.95. I had the Broiled Flounder with fried onion rings and cole slaw for $21.95. I had the Fat Bast**d Chardonnay ($7.00); She had the Blue Moon Special for $3. More of... More

We stayed in North Myrtle Beach so Murrels Inlet was a bit of a drive but Lees Inlet Kitchen was worth the time. I had the combination platter with fried flounder, scallops and fin tail shrimp. Just suffice it to say it all was fantastic. And the cole slaw and hush puppies were equally delicious. Service was excellent and the... More

My wife and I love locally fresh seafood and we were not disappointed with the offerings at Lee's Inlet Kitchen! They had choices of fresh grouper, trigger fish, soft shell crab, white shrimp, scallops, and brown shrimp!!! I was in the mood for some blackened fish but wanted soft shell crab also so they added the crab to my triggerfish... More

We had heard Lee's kitchen was great and we were not disappointed. From the sweet tea to the shrimp to the hush puppies crab cakes and grouper everything was delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive - couldn't ask for more. Oh yes, save a spot for the homemade pie!

Great tasting seafood and dessert. Somewhat noisy but not unbearable, a little tight with seating. Go at 4:30, drink water, its free. Many restaurants charge $3 for tea and soda, but then you are filled up! Lees' reviews I read before going were extremely accurate. They are pricey but you get a great portion!

DeB & I stopped here during vacation, the week following Labor Day. Lovely breezy-looking interior, plenty of sunlight, nifty retro sign outside. DeB got the Crab Cakes & a very nice salad - good assortment of greens, AND plenty of other fresh veggies. I got the Fried Lee's Shore dinner. Everything was deliciously prepared and prettily presented. I'd've rated the... More

Just order hushpuppies and fried onions. Food was either okay or bad. Grizzly steak, ho hum fries, dry fried flounder. Fried oysters and shrimp okay. Typical tasteless salad. Really not worth the price. Lots of food not good or good for you.Farmed fish and shell fish. Oysters in the oyster stew were grossly large. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambiance... More
