Saved the best for last!

We finally got to Lee's in our last night in Murrell's Inlet. It has been in operation for a number of years. The food was the best we had all week. This historic location is always busy and for good reason. You will find the food and service is some of the finest you will experience anywhere. The touch of history experienced in this original location only adds to the experience! Come early as they begin serving dinner at 4PM and the lines you sometimes find are a sign of the... More

Always Good !!!...we are starting on our 46th year going here. Could not wait for this weekend to come and for Lee's to reopen for the Season. Hush puppies to die for...and what a way to start the meal. Followed by the Wonderful Clam Chowder, our family favorite, ...just perfect anytime, but tonight was chilly and with a fire in... More

A southern tradition. Yummy hush puppies and piled high fried oysters! You can't come here an not eat at Lee's.

Been here many times and always pleased. Food is excellent - hubby usually gets grouper and I get shrimp. Hush puppies are one of, if not the best we've had. If you have room the desserts are heavenly. Service always pleasant.

My wife used to eat here when she was a child, and remembers good food in a nice atmosphere. Our recent trip there in September reinforced these good memories. This is good Southern food in a clean environment with fine service.

Wow, talk about going back in time. Lots of homey dishes and offerings. Got the fish, decent. Lots of frying here. The food is a little to much for me with lots of frying but can be good for some others as they get good ratings. I would probably go down the road and check out those other places myself... More

The hostess thoughtfully seated our family of two adults and three children (ages 10 and under) near the beautiful salt water aquarium and provided coloring books and crayons to keep the children occupied. That always wins points with the parents. The food was AMAZINGLY good and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our last visit was almost ten years ago and we... More

During our Thanksgiving vacation at the beach we ate at Lee's Inlet Kitchen twice. The hush puppies were amazing. Sweet and very light and along with the honey butter they were irresistible. The sautéed fantail shrimp were excellent. The staff and waitresses were so friendly and attentive. We had such a good experience the first night we went back again.

We ate here three nights in a row. The fried flounder is cooked just the way my spouse likes it and of course the Kona coffee hits the spot for her. I had the grilled scallops and it was cooked to perfection. Meals come with a nice salad and fresh hush puppies. Will definitely return.
