Typical fried seafood platter

Nice view if you can get a seat next to the marsh. They are in the business of moving people in and out but don't rush too much. Ironically, When busy service can be slow. Best for fried seafood platter, generous servings but not fine dining. Typical food and prices of most Murrells Inlet... read more

Where to begin? We came for the early bird special: Buy one dinner and get the other 50% off. The hush puppies were crisp and tender inside. The honey-butter made them even better. I hadn't had that before! We ordered fried okra for an appetizer - just TOO good. They do know how to fry! We ordered crab cakes (2)... More

Great food and great staff. Our flounder and shrimp was excellent. Server was very good and service was fast.

The food was fantastic. Grilled salmon was cooked perfect! Fried shrimp was delicious. Fried oysters were a little too salty due to batter. Wait time from order to service of food was quite timely. Thankfully the food was good. Service was average. Had to wait to be seated - no hostess and they weren't busy. Not sure how they would... More

This is my favorite oyster restaurant in the Carolinas. We are in the US for only a few weeks (from Singapore) and this place was one of our must-go places. This place is the top for oysters. They often have good local catch, roasted in 1/2, 1/4 bushel orders. We always have a great time shucking and eating and visiting.... More

Another favourite of ours when visiting this area.. Difficult to decide which meal to have but roast oysters are always fun. Great place to go wth family, friends, and kids. Service is always good. The view of Murrell's Inlet is so peaceful and the light changes over the Inlet as you dine. A "must visit" place.

Our final night in the area, and it was a tough decision on which restaurant to try next! We picked Nance's, and hit it at the right time to enjoy the buy one, get 50% off second entree. Had a gorgeous view of the marshy area, even if it was raining. Brianna was our server, and she did a very... More

Sad to say not very impressed. We had been anticipating going to this restaurant for a while. Hit the early bird special which made it a little less painful. After seating us no one ever came back we had to finally flag someone down. Menu reminded me of old "fish camp" days with its choices, but thought they were a... More

I have been going to Nance's since I was a kid. Though the atmosphere has changed from the old white shack, you still can't beat the food and service.

Went there Friday Night. Moved to the area a few months ago and been trying out Restaurants along the Murrells Inlet Marsh. When we walked in a already saw that this was built for the tourist season and not for the locals. Tables lined in rows, very open and unwelcoming. The hostess, who wound up being the manager (keep reading)... More
