GOOD SERVICE AND FOOD

Our final night in the area, and it was a tough decision on which restaurant to try next! We picked Nance's, and hit it at the right time to enjoy the buy one, get 50% off second entree. Had a gorgeous view of the marshy area, even if it was raining. Brianna was our server, and she did a very... read more

Sad to say not very impressed. We had been anticipating going to this restaurant for a while. Hit the early bird special which made it a little less painful. After seating us no one ever came back we had to finally flag someone down. Menu reminded me of old "fish camp" days with its choices, but thought they were a... More

I have been going to Nance's since I was a kid. Though the atmosphere has changed from the old white shack, you still can't beat the food and service.

Went there Friday Night. Moved to the area a few months ago and been trying out Restaurants along the Murrells Inlet Marsh. When we walked in a already saw that this was built for the tourist season and not for the locals. Tables lined in rows, very open and unwelcoming. The hostess, who wound up being the manager (keep reading)... More

We always enjoy going to Nance's every time we are at the beach. The seafood is always cooked perfectly and is delicious. The view of the inlet is beautiful. If you like fresh seafood in a casual atmosphere, this is the place in the inlet to go. Their early bird special is well worth arriving early for (buy one entree,... More

Nances is where many locals go for great seafood , Reasonably priced and always good. The Oyster Bucket when in season is dynomite, the tables have a large hole in center and a large can underneath , no muss no fuss just eat and enjoy. All other dishes are super also. We have eaten here many times. The Baron Family

We really enjoyed our seafood dinner at Nance's. The fried seafood was perfectly cooked with a light breading. We did not have the steamed oysters, however most of the tables at the restaurant were enjoying them, so they must have been delicious. Several different side dishes were offered which was nice. Although their prices are comparable to other Murrell's Inlet... More

We stopped in on a raining night and was seated quickly. The staff was friendly and attended to us well. The restaurant was cold in side and uncomfortable. Most folks were wearing jackets. I ordered the stuffed flounder after asking if the $18.99 dish was stuffed with crab meat. I was told it was. The fish I received was half... More

Looking for a nice dinner on a last night in town, we chose Nance's. It was to have a good view of the marsh and it didn't disappoint. Staff seats each group as close to the windows as possible without you having to ask. I appreciated that. We chose the low country boil. The serving was so big (for 2)... More
