We've been to Drunken Jacks several times, but unforunately not in the last several years and after reading some reviews I was afraid of what the wait time had become. So half of our group really wanted to go and the other half was not going to wait what we were expecting to be 2 hours. So on Sunday (very... More

Drunken Jacks is great! Hush puppies are mouth watering with the honey butter. Salad bar was clean and delicious, great options. Husband got the shrimp and I got the broiled flounder and fried shrimp and we both loved it! Marsh Walk is neat to walk around on and you might catch live music. Our wait was "90 minutes" on a... While we waited for a table, we had drinks and a couple appetizers and it was as much as dinner. I loved the view and the conversation. The food was ok. The Marsh Walk was great. But now my husband liked his food, he had broiled Trout.

Of course...the wait. I chose to go late Friday night. Although, We only waited about half an hour. Food was great. We stayed in north myrtle beach and it was worth the drive. They seat on a first come first serve basis but you could go to the lounge for drinks and apps. Definitely a must. Food was deeeelicious!!!!

Waits were so long. We walked the inlet and looked around. 2 hours later we got a table with our reservation. Our friends reservation was lost. I ordered the market priced snow crab at $60 and it was tasteless, rubbery and over cooked. So sad after hearing all the hype and the long wait. The price was so inflated. Not... More

This was our first visits to Drunken Jacks and Marsh Walk. There was a bit of a wait but well worth it. We were able to enjoy the live music, the waterview and delicious appetizers. The food was amazing, the staff friendly and service extraordinary. We look forward to returning with family and friends!!

We have been coming here for YEARS. It's always been a wait if you don't arrive early so we fully expected to wait. The food has always been fabulous. We had appetizers at the bar that were ok. By the time we got called for dinner the salad bar was picked through. Our waitress was very nice but sadly ,for... More

Went after a recommendation from a local friend. I think she recommended because, she has the liquor sales to the restaurant. The food was average and high priced. I ordered grilled yellow fin tuna, which was well prepared with some lima bean concoction next to it that was horrible. The service was good, the salad bar is fairly limited. The... More

I have eaten here about 4 times over the last 10 years and it is always great. One downfall is the long wait but it is worth it. Great waiting area to get drinks and appetizers. Great hushpuppies and I forgot how good the salad bar is. Seems like their dressings are homemade. Everyone enjoyed their food. Only reason I... More
