Could not make a reservation but expects you to wait one hour or more to experience just average food. Think back home. Isn't there a better place you go. The salad bar is a joke. If you weren't on vacation you would not wait a half hour for this place. Biggest tourist trap in Murrels Inlet by far.

Waited over an hour for 1 entree and a kids meal...average food... Frozen fries... Heard waitresses complaining about how backed up kitchen was...

Had the Grouper sandwich and Salmon salad, Both excellent. Fast service. We had a window overlooking Goat Island, watching the peacocks! The waiter said the goat will start to appear as the weather gets warmer.

Tried three different dishes - all at best very average. She crab soup was over salted and over creamed. Quite simply a heart attack in a bowl for almost $8. Grilled grouper sandwich had no taste, the tartar sauce no kick, and the coleslaw no crunch and awash in dressing. Sesame crusted tuna was ok. Very thinly sliced and bland.... More

Great food at Drunken Jacks -- from the grilled shrimp appetizer to the stuffed flounder and blackened grouper. Hushpuppies were delicious - also enjoyed the salad bar!!!

As a local I have eaten here many times. Do not go here for dinner. It is only average and overpriced for what it is. Lunch, however is excellent. The wraps, burgers, crab cakes and Po' Boys are great. The hush puppies are my favorite and the honey butter that goes with them is great on their sweet potato fries.... More

This was one of my favorite meals in South Carolina. I had the Combo platter with broiled flounder, fantail shrimp and the deviled crab. It was amazing. The blue cheese dressing at salad bar was the best I have ever had. The hush puppies were a table favorite for the kids w/ a nice honey butter spread. Worth a trip... More

We along with several friends had decided to go to Drunken Jacks's on the advise of another friend. Our friends beat us there and asked what a table for 6. They also asked how long the wait was. The Hostess said that it was 5 minutes and then asked if all members of the party were there. When our fiends... More

Went with kids, 5 and 7. Had apps and drinks first on the deck and they gave the kids pirate hats which they loved! Also they have free popcorn that you can help yourself to. Went upstairs to eat dinner and was disappointed. Salad bar was OK, but dinner wasn't. Steak was salty and overcooked and special of the day... More

Seafaring atmosphere. Adequate parking, minimal wait time and food was superbly prepared. Great service and well worth the visit. Would go again.
