Food was very good, took an hour and a half to get food. Normally would not have been a problem but my Mother in law is diabetic and the time constraint became a real problem. Have been here several times, not sure if we will be back More

AT here on recommendation of the waiter at Croissants in Myrtle Beach....she is a foodie from way back so I trusted her opinion and am GLAD I Did! This place was awesome! Chilean Sea Bass was so moist and tender....it had Portabello Mushroom Grits with Sauteed Spinach in a cream sauce. My friend had the Mahi Mahi with Ginger Glaze...also... More

I am a long time local, my wife and I live in Murrells Inlet and go to just about every place down here several times a year. I have not been to Hot Fish in about 3 years because of multiple bad experiences but recently friends invited us and assured me there were new owners. Skeptical, I went anyway, and... More

Intriguing Name... even more interesting history (see below my review)... So there we were passing it on our bicycle ride today and then doubling back in the early evening via auto to partake in some steamed oysters. While the surrounding restaurants were stuffed with tourists with a 30-min. wait, we entered and took our seats immediately on the back porch... More

Nice inside but a bit pricey. They did offer some different seafood choices, I had a very good pasta and shrimp dish and the coconut shrimp were also good. O.K. but I probably will not return... More

Try the clamari steak appetizer, unique. The food is tasty; loved the Low Country boil! More

Seafood as good as Calabash but better variety, better sides and better hush puppies. Modest exterior, but beautiful murals of the sound and marshes cover the walls. Nice bar area too. Right on the sound with picnic tables and a walkway. Great value with a sunset special menu, unbelievable low prices for such a great place. More

On a recent golfing weekend with friends, we decided to revisit a long time favorite, the hot fish club. We made it a point to go there on Sunday night as they have always featured prime rib as a weekly special and not all of our group enjoy seafood. Imagine our surprise then, when those that ordered the prime rib... More

New owners as of 9/13. Service was fast, efficient, and courteous. The crabcakes and coconut shrimp were out of this world! My friends shared a steamed pot, and also raved about the flavor and taste. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. More

I have really enjoyed this restaurant the last few years when I visited Murrells Inlet, however, on my most recent visit (9/8/11) I was disappointed. While the service was good, the food was mediocre. I got the impression that either the ownership or kitchen staff had changed, or maybe even both? Highly doubtful that I'll have this place on my...
