We had known about the great seafood at Murrells Inlet. After searching trip advisor, we picked the #2 restaurant (Russell's Seafood Grill). I was so disappointed after spending $60.00 for two broiled seafood platters, which tasted so bland and had no seasoning. This is disappointing, because I have always used Trip Advisor. The couple beside us actually asked the waitress... More

Visiting Murrells Inlet at least every summer, we always look forward to going to Russell's. Although we aren't true locals, the staff are always very personable and the overall atmosphere makes you feel welcome. During our most recent visit, we had an outstanding server, Dianne, who was sure to tell us about the specials and made sure we were always... More

Russell greeted us and made feel at home. Erika was our waitress and she did a tremendous job. Erika suggested the fresh, local, catch of the day fish. The lightly blackened grouper, hog nosed snapper, and grilled tuna were great. Fried scallops and flounder were also very good.. Will definitely return!!

Russell's makes me feel at home, but with an awesome selection of low country recipes for seafood. I have been eating at Russell's for more than decade, probably two. They always serve a variety of classic seafood dishes, but the specials change up every night based upon what is fresh. I ate there earlier this year, when the "Hog Snapper"... More

I had been craving fresh fish since Murrells Inlet is known as the seafood capitol, so decided to try Russell's based on so many good reviews. The place was clean and we were seated promptly, the waitress was lovely and Russell came over to check on us.... but that's all we can say good about the place. Our complimentary hush... More

Great service. Catch of the day done just the way we wanted. Kids menu was delicious as well. Went early 5:30 ish mid-week so no wait but crowded when we left. Small, no frills and prices reasonable.

We visited the restaurant for the first time on July 5. Food and service was great even over the busy Holiday weekend. Had the unique Hamburger with Crab. Outstanding. The Oyster basket provided 12 oysters and was a great value. Russell, the owner came to the table to check that everything was as we expected. Just a great feel and... More

We came here to compare it to our other favorite stops in Murrells Inlet. The service was great but the food was only good, not great. The key lime pie is very good...the best item on the menue.

We got almost immediate seating on the patio outside during a very busy July 4 holiday week. We had a very friendly waitress. Unfortunately, likely because of the crowd, everything took a very long time. We got our order placed relatively quickly but had to wait over an hour for our food and then for thirty more minutes to get... More

We decided to have a big breakfast, skip lunch and got to Russell's at 4:00 to avoid a long wait. It is a small quaint restaurant on the second floor across robe street from the water. It is not waterfront. We had Erika as a server and she was fantastic! My husband loves seafood and ordered the snapper... He said... More
