Always a hit!!

We have been coming for 10 years- and its always great! You can't beat the early bird specials from 4-6 pm. My Dad loves the Oyster Stew- so many oysters its almost a meal. My kids love the fried shrimp and fish. And my Mom and I love it all! The salad is always fresh, the beer mug is always... read more

Great seafood and excellent service. Very personable staff, southern hospitality at its finest! We will come back again and can't wait for our next vacation. We may just have to stop in one more time before we leave.

We have been here before but someone in the group wanted to go back. Several of us got the grouper and when it arrived it looked delicious and it was a large portion but upon eating it we found it had not taste and was overcooked and rubbery, so unfortunately we will not be returning.

I had come to Myrtle from my home in the mountains for a three night mini vacation at the beach with my close friend and her children and my grand daughter and her grandpa. We cooked our meals for the whole time so we could have one last blowout on our last night here. I read the Trip Advisor Reviews... More

Russell's was recommended to us by a Myrtle Beach resident. With so many seafood places in the area, we were wanting a place that served "real" seafood. Russell's is that place. The fish was excellent. We tried the Russell potatoes--mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and deep fried. Interesting and pretty tasty! Salad was fresh, although basic. Oysters on half shell... More

This is a standard stop on our annual guys golf trip. The food is great and the service is even better. Russell always thanks you and genuinely cares about your experience. His wife makes the pies (try the peanut butter pie!) and Susan behind the bar is overwhelmingly terrific.

Was heading to Hot Fish but they closed at 9. Russell's was right across street. Had fresh oysters and tender calamari for apps. Then had blackened grouper for dinner and it was fantastic. Very enjoyable meal, service and atmosphere. I would go back again.

Dinner at Russells, great, what more can I say. Great food, great service and great owners who care about their customers. I was especially impressed by the personal attention the the owners, especially Russell himself, pay to the operation of this restaurant and believe me it shows. When was the last time you witnessed an owner assist elderly customers in... More

Every time I go to the beach, I am reminded what a good gig the local seafood places have. They started out as no frills shacks near a fishing dock that served fresh fish at a bargain price. Well, the eateries are still no frills shacks near a fishing dock, but the prices now rival white linen restaurants! Russell’s in... More

We made our way further South than usual and on a whim, stopped into Russell's. I would say the best seafood meal I've had on the Grand Strand. Great folks and atmosphere. We will be back and I recommend.
