Went for dinner and found great food and fantastic deal. Tuesday night they do 50% of bottles of wine! I had the Quail and Venison Sausage. Wow - it was fantastic. and they had great music to boot. Highly recommend this local gem. We will back!

A great dinner on any evening and a wonderful Saturday/Sunday brunch. Loud bar scene on most nights, but you will get used to the noise. Very good wait staff. An alaround good time.

Without a recommendation from a friend who lives in Mt. Pleasant, we never would have never heard of the Red Drum. Only the locals seem to know about this place as it doesn't make any of the tourist lists of hot spots. Great bar, excellent service, and all four of us had outstanding meals. As for southern hospitality, we were... More

Red Drum was recommended to us by a surgeon friend from back home. We have friends in Charleston who also recommended it. There are a lot of great restaurants in Charleston but there seems to be movement out toward Mt. Pleasant. We had a great meal and the fish was great! The restaurant has a casual relaxed environment.

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Red Drum with several business associates the other evening and I was just wowed by this place. The Grouper Chervise and Shrimp Coctail appitisers were outstanding. The special for the evening was the broiled Grouper with green beans and mashed potatoes that everyone that had it at our table raved about it.... More

I had brunch here with my lovely cousin and her friends, as the last meal that I would get to have in Charleston before I hit the road; well, I am so glad we picked this place, because it was delicious. I have an onion allergy but the server was very friendly in working with me and helping me find... More

Whenever we have a date night, my husband and I usually end up at Red Drum. I also come here often with my girlfriends for a drink, or to share a birthday dinner. This is just a great place to be! The atmosphere is amazing: dark wood tables and bars, stucco white walls, a gorgeous patio with a fireplace and... More

Some the best food in Mt. Pleasant. if you don't feel like getting to downtown, this is a fun bar/restaurant place. It's slightly Southwest menu is unique and always very good. The rum cake for dessert, or the wood fire grilled chicken is just the best.
