Good but expensive

Good food. A little on the expensive side and the beer was a little over priced. Very good quality food. I would go back again.

We selected Red Drum for our choice for Restaurant Week. They had one of the most interesting Restaurant Week menus, with a nice spectrum of choices. Unfortunately many times, local restaurants will try to "tunnel" their Restaurant Week menus into less elegant choices. Red Drum made sure the offerings were not only elegant, but the portions in turn were generous... More

Service was average but very busy.Food was Delicious-had the quail with venison sausage.Drinks were alright-slightly above average for a restaurant.Overall was a good experience but likely would not go back,at least not in a while because there are alot of choices.

Booked a reservation at Red Drum for four at 7.15pm - we have dined here a number of times before and always had a good time enjoying both the food, staff and ambiance. Arrived a few minutes before our reserved time and were escorted to the wine cellar/dungeon complete with empty wine boxes and associated mess. Absolutely no ambiance, we... More

We go to Red Drum at least once a month and we love it. The food is so good, I never know what to get! The Shrimp and Grits is pretty great and the Chicken and Biscuits is delicious! We also have a love for the Mimosas!!

Red Drum is a staple with us locals here in Charleston/ Mt Pleasant. The food is always very good - something for everyone. The fresh bread will make you throw that "no carb" diet right out the window. Brunch here is a special treat, so if you are in the area looking for something I highly recommend that you make... This review is just on their brunch. When I lived in Charleston, I would go out of my way and drive here to eat their biscuits. They have the best biscuits I've ever had!!! They are buttery and light, crisp on the outside. The biscuits always came with some fresh jam of whatever fruit the chef decided on. I always... More

Tuesday night a group of 9 ladies went to dinner here. First of all, the draft beer choices were great and so were the bar tenders!! Personality plus. After a draft at the bar we proceeded to the dinning room where our server was excellent as well. We had no idea it was half price wine night until we ordered... More

Red Drum has not lost its charm or amazing food. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner including the BBQ shrimp, pork chop, chicken and Caesar salad. Excellent service and dessert topped the evening!
