My daughter and I had a delicious lunch at Five Loaves today. We were starving after shopping all morning, and each ordered a big meal. We both started out with a cup of soup--potato soap and Mexican chicken tortilla. Then we chose to pick two; half salad and half sandwich. Our selections includes Chicken Caesar Salad, Chicken Cobb Salad, Marinated... More

They have a new slogan at 5 loafs. Local Fresh Casual. Let me address each one. Casual: One can find everything from guys wearing shorts to women in their want to be horse rider outfits. Everyone is welcome. Fresh: Without a doubt yes. The veggies are from local farms and the chef knows what he's doing. Local: Lets just say... More

This place is amazing, we have eaten at Husk, Toast, Kitchen 208, The Tattooed Moose and SNOB, and this restaurant was right behind SNOB as the best food we ate in Charleston! They cater to vegetarians, vegans, and gluten allergies. Very, very good.

Crowded on a Wednesday for lunch. Very loud. Too bad they don't have at least on traditional soup to go with the creative dailys on the board. Like chicken and rice. Has tuna on croissant minus the cheese and onion and it was good. Service was excellent.

The food here can best be described as unique. It was fresh and flavorful. We especially enjoyed the goat cheese gnocchi.

We had breakfast here because we won a gift card. The food was great and the service was good too. We will definitely be back. You can also bring your dog to the patio

We decided to eat at Fives Loaves Cafe without any expectation. The restaurant was full of locals during the restaurant week. The service was good and the food was incredible!

This place is great, and very affordable. I go for lunch about 3 times a week. I've taken many different friends and family members and everyone loves it. Healthy options, fresh ingredients, and very vegetarian- and vegan-friendly. I could eat the basil pesto on anything and the She Crab soup may be the best I've ever had. Excellent rotating selection... More

They changed locations and changed the menu but still very good. Service was very good. Menu selection somewhat limited. Food quality was excellent.

I confidently recommended Five Loaves Cafe as the best food, most pleasant service, and greatest value dining experience in Mount Pleasant to friends and strangers alike for years. Sadly, I can't do that any longer. The new dinner menu is visually unappealing and the content is not much better. The service is still top notch - friendly and fast -... More
