Nothing but just great dogs and shakes, etc. Funky place. Recommend the blue cheese slaw. Great place for kids and familys. Had better fries last visit.

While on vacation, we try hard to never eat at fast food places (not that there's anything wrong with them!) - and usually cull through the FoodTV site to find cool, out of the way, places to eat. Jack's fit the bill - not too close to Folly Beach (where we were staying), but we knew we had to go... More

Ordered two, should have ordered one. They are big and good. Personally I like the traditional hotdog size better, just because they are easier to eat. It's definitely worth a trip to Jack's Cosmic Dogs to check out the decor and enjoy an American classic.

Had heard good things about this place from a couple of people and to be honest, was just expecting more. It was too hot inside to be comfortable, the entire staff was sweaty, and the food was mediocre at best. We prolly won't be going back.

Many delicious varieties of hot dogs. Outstanding milk shakes. Wish hot dogs weren't as bad for you as I'd be back everyday for about a month!

We always eat here when we come to Charleston. This place is a little hole in the wall but the dogs are great as are the fries. The place is open from 11:00 till probably about 7pm. It is always packed. There are just 3 people working in there but they do a great job of getting the food out.... More

I heard about this place in an article i read before visiting Charleston and wanted to see what it was like. We went for lunch. It was a little hard to find, even though it was right there on a busy highway. I was looking for something more 'slick', something along the lines of, say, a flashy fast food diner.... More

Wish the food was better because it's a cute hotdog joint. Fries are soggy and dark. Chili used is awful. The hotdogs they use are horrible and lukewarm at best.

Real interesting spins on hotdogs...the one with blue cheese slaw and chili was great! Fries are spectacular. Restaurant has a cool funky vibe. Kids meals even include quarters for the nostalgic video games.

I visited Jack's Cosmic Dogs a few years back while vacationing in Charleston. We just happened to see Jack's as we were driving to our hotel and I couldn't get it out of my mind the whole trip. I LOVE me a good hot dog and the vintage look/feel of the restaurant drew me back on our last day in... More
