Shrimp n grits are superb. The gazpacho was excellent. Burger very good. Great wine list and excellent service. Great atmosphere. Went with customer and our spouses, everyone enjoyed the meal. There was a bit of confusion over seating us that lead to a bit of A delay but really the rest of the service and food/drinks outweighed the 25 min... More

We tried this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend who also loved it. It is in an old neighborhood and you would never know it is there. It is in an old post office. Staff was super friendly and very efficient. We ate in the tavern room which had a bar with about 6 stools, so it was not... More

Wonderful! Only been there twice as our daughter lives in Mt. Pleasant and we live in Virginia. On our first visit we had dinner and the service and food were great. Went there on our next visit for brunch and it was fabulous also! Food and service cannot be beat.

Besides delicious appetizer (tuna poke), spectacular main course special fish and a dessert to faint over - creamy chocolate pie for him and a peach Melba with red berry sauce for me, we had John, a delightful server who took the time to tell us the history of OVPH and all about a painting in the dining room. It was... More

The Post House was a good experience. It's in a beautiful part of Mt. Pleasant we never knew existed until we found this Inn. The food was good, the service was good. We had a great shrimp, crab chowder. The atmosphere was quaint and charming. The surroundings were beautiful.

We found this gem using the Open Table app. I would highly recommend this restaurant in the old village of Mt Pleasant. There's also an Inn attached that I'd like to try someday. Our server, Danielle couldn't have been better in any way. She was attentive, informative and kind. They offered a broad range of appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts... More

We found this place by scrolling through Trip Advisor and Open Table. We're are so glad we gave it a try! It is located in what appears to be in a mostly residential area. The building is beautiful, and definitely fits in with Old Charleston. We would never have happened upon it. I should mention that we were unaware that... More

We live in Mt Pleasant, but had not yet visited the Old Village Post House. Situated near the Charleston Harbor on a historic street, you will find this Inn and Restaurant next to an old time pharmacy with sodas and milkshake and such. The restaurant itself has a lounge, a courtyard with full dining, private dining options, and a main... More

Nestled in the residential area of Mt. Pleasant is one of the best restaurants in the Charleston vicinity. It's so good, we went there 2 nights in a row. We dined on Thursday night and had friends coming in on Friday. We decided we had to go back! It's an older building with interesting architecture. It's not quaint like High... More
