very good food and attentive service

Some things were exceptional (pimento cheese), some average (grits, French toast) but overall a very good experience. Husband loved the jalapeno bacon and corned beef hash. The cheese omelet was cooked well but not distinguished. Best advice is to go with the atypical items as this is where they... read more

Mother's day brunch was awesome! Had the Oyster Benedict special with chips - the specials are always different and interesting, which I'm game to try. My daughter and wife had Classic Southern Benedict, with Grits. Iced Tea is spiced and very unique. Always a wait, so come and plan on sitting out front with a coffee or water - well... More

While staying in Mt. Pleasant, one of the places we had heard about for breakfast was this cafe. Located in a small strip mall area, it was not far from our hotel near Patriot's Point. It was also on a list of places recommended by our bartender and other patrons where we ate dinner the night before. We were pleased.... More

Was in the mood for some biscuits and gravy on the way to the beach and stopped here. It's got that very typical "breakfast diner" look to it. The place itself is a good size, but only one unisex bathroom for the entire place. Our server had trouble getting to us quickly, but the place was busy. The food did... More

This a good solid decision for breakfast. Everything was good and tasty! I ordered the Goat Island and it was oddly good. Super large portions and great sweet potato biscuits. We will definitely go back! Btw bc of other reviews complaining about the wait, we got there at 8:05 and walked right in ;)

Located off the beaten path, and not really any ambiance, but the staff is friendly, and the food was good. Prices were average. If you go for brunch on the weekend, be prepared for an extremely long wait as this place is obviously popular. I don't know exactly what I was expecting because I was told that they had a... More

This place (somewhat hard to find) is wonderful. The atmosphere is plain, but the service and food are great. Best place around for down home cookin' and fair prices.

Husband and I heard this was a great place to have breakfast so we decided to try it. Nice restaurant, lots of people there having breakfast, no waiting. I had Amber's Choice - crab cake, shrimp, andoullie sausage, hollandaise sauce, eggs, grits and a biscuit. There was no crab cake, but crab mush, and the taste...not sure what was in... More
