Great breakfast place

This place (somewhat hard to find) is wonderful. The atmosphere is plain, but the service and food are great. Best place around for down home cookin' and fair prices.

Husband and I heard this was a great place to have breakfast so we decided to try it. Nice restaurant, lots of people there having breakfast, no waiting. I had Amber's Choice - crab cake, shrimp, andoullie sausage, hollandaise sauce, eggs, grits and a biscuit. There was no crab cake, but crab mush, and the taste...not sure what was in... More

This is a great place for a breakfast for one to a dozen. The décor could use some updates but the food is top drawer. They have the usual breakfast fare, but Amber & Andrew are masters at adding very unusual items to the daily fare & also daily specials. My wife still is talking about the brioche French toast... Got 2 breakfast sandwiches to go. They weren't on trip advisor menu but when I went in. Nice cafe feel inside. Super friendly service even as the pale was bursting over capacity. People were waiting for tables and others for take out. We got the Original and Battery BLT. Both delicious and my wife loves the ice coffee. Would return.

This place is a little hole in the wall. The decor is nothing to write home about but the food, oh the food!!! We ate breakfast there and referred other travelers to do the same! The food is fantastic southern with a flair. The sweet potato biscuit was heavenly! The staff is welcoming, the prices are reasonable and the portions... More

This is an unremarkable place in a shopping center off Hwy 17. The food, though, is quite pleasant and adventurous with low country shrimps and grits, island potato casseroles, a variety of eggs Benedict, omelets, waffles and French toast. Everything is freshly prepared and served in healthy portions. The service is pleasant and unobtrusive. Prices are reasonable.

Charleston's Cafe has everything anyone would be interested in for breakfast including some not-so-traditional including my favorite, the Island Potato Casseroles. My pick is the Goat Island variety. The "chippers" are house made potato chips - a little thicker than normal. My family including my two teens loved it. Unfortunately, I have a gluten intolerance but the waitress was knowledgeable... A Great place for breakfast in Mt Pleasant. Go early as they do get very busy. The selections were wide and unique. The creek omelet was yummy and something different. The French toast was awesome so come hungry and you won’t be disappointed.
