Great food in an odd location

Get used to it. Food in Charleston is more expensive than most anywhere else in the south. Long Point Grill is an exception. The meals are well priced and the food is typically good Charleston fare. The seafood is great. But they also have good American food, too. The food is a bit upscale... read more

This was our second visit in two years for our yearly trip to mount pleasant. The food is fresh and delicious. Service is outstanding. I had the butternut squash soup and loved it. I then had a salad and decided after a few minutes I would like duck for it. After a short wait the manager brought me a large... More

I took my wife and our daughter to dinner on Mother's Day. This was my second visit and my wife's third visit. The staff is friendly, the food is locally sourced and tastes great. The portions are amble and there is a good variety to choose from.

We arranged to meet a party of friends prior to attending the Family Circle Cup, just down the road. Six in total. Service was slow, after an attentive provision of the first glass of water. This evening event had a start of 7pm which the waiter was made aware of. Nevertheless orders were not taken early despite attempting to gain... More

This lively spot is excellent for midday. Imaginative menu and exceptional presentation for a $12ish lunch. Quick service by a harried staff.

This is a nice small restaurant with nothing fancy except a very creative chef and an excellent staff of people. I had a hanger steak on this visit, cooked to perfection. Calamari as good as you can get anywhere, and great daily specials. Usually there is a long line to get in, but this visit we arrived earlier than usual... More

What can I say, go and try it. It's just south of 526, towards the terminal and industrial area. Same owner as The Boulevard and other restaurants in the area.

We went on a Tuesday night (3 adults). The sweet tea was really good which is always important! The bread was delightful. The problem came with our entrees. I ordered the pork medallions which came in this terrible goop. It was supposed to be a bourbon sugar glaze, but it had a gelatinous texture that was cold when it arrived... More

Only discovered this spot because of a Charleston local but have now visited on our own and taken others dozens of times when in Charleston. With regular house specialties, go for the chicken with creamed potatoes and greens for a great comforting meal; or tomato pie; or quiche and salad. I eye their desserts each time and occasionally spring for... More
