Just the three of us stopped in Saturday evening for dinner... Loved what we ordered: Started with the delicious Creamy Chicken & Rice Soup... My daughter had the Lemon Chicken, my wife the Pecan Crusted Chicken and I had the Mustard Seed Pad Thai (never had a better Pad Thai anywhere else)... Always a pleasure dining at the Mustard Seed...... More

Very informal, enjoyable and great food. Came here with friends from Richmond and Charleston. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The dessert menu was very good. There were a variety of items on the menu which included soups, salads and pasta. All items were well prepared. There were not many people there and we were seated very quickly.

We eat at this restaurant multiple times when visiting the Charleston area. The food is fresh consistent and delicious. It is part of the Sal's Restaurant Group and Sal knows what he is doing!!

The food is on the upper end of OK and if you are looking for an informal diner like experience you may enjoy it. The restaurant was nearly empty when we visited but the host seated us uncomfortably close to one of three families present, (in their defense we did not ask to be seated somewhere else). The waitress was... More

We also were looking for a moderately priced meal with unique local touch. This was it. Was greeting immediately on entry, quickly seated and order was out as quickly as we could polish off two helpings of their fresh focaccia bread. Shrimp mac and cheese was a big hit with my college age daughter. I had the shrimp linguine which... More

Every time we visit Charleston this is on our to do list. Usually for lunch (try the tuna melt) but this time we made it for dinner. Love the entrées we got and the service was perfect. Check out the delicious desserts as well. Love this place and can't wait to go back!

We were looking for a more moderately priced restaurant during our stay in Charleston, and were so glad we tried this gem. The menu was appealing and eclectic, the prices very reasonable for the area - and certainly for the quality. The food was absolutely perfect. We had the seared tuna, shrimp mac 'n cheese, and black bean cakes -... More

After some searching we found this place in Mount Pleasant. It is an old house or office converted into a restaurant. I had the black bean cakes and I tasted my friends pad thai. Both were well made and delicious. The service was good as well. We will be back.

What a wonderful meal. We came for dinner and as soon as we sat down our server brought us a basket of warm focaccia with dipping oil and fresh grated parmesan. Our server was great about addressing food allergies with the kitchen for a member of our party. Two of us enjoyed a monkfish special, blue cheese mashed potatoes and... More
