best tomato soup ever

After bicycling across the Ravenel Bridge, my husband and I stopped here for a treat. I ordered the tomato soup, as it was rainy and a little cool. The soup was the best tomato soup I've ever tasted- not creamy but a sort of roasted, rich flavor. Chunks of tomato, and just heaven. I also had an... read more

Love local bakeries. Do not need the calories but I'm always looking for great pastry. Unfortunately this visit was just ok. I ordered a cinnamon bun, blueberry muffin, coffee cake and a morning glory muffin. All were tasty but not just-baked fresh. The cinnamon roll was older and though decent flavor the icing was simple and sweet not at all... More

This is tucked away in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant and you might not consider it for lunch until someone tells you about it. Good sandwiches and a good feel. Counter service.

It's a tiny bakery with powerful customer service. They were able to take my 20-person lunch order and have it ready and perfect. Be sure to get some of their cookies - even if they're for later.

Came in on a hot day for a glass of tea. I kept looking at the desserts and couldn't decide between the coconut cake, chocolate brownie or key lime pie. Ended up with the pie and it was so delicious. I ordered the same thing after that at three restaurants but it wasn't as good as the one at Village... More

Forget about the calorie count for this visit! It was worth every delicious bite. Although I only had just a coffee and a peanut butter bar, I'm sure every tasty item that passed over that counter was awesome. Tables are small, seating is cozy and it's a bit noisy since it's filled with locals and young families. Can be a... More

This is a nice little eatery in Old Village, right near the authentic old time pharmacy. Excellent salads and wonderful sandwiches, and the breakfast menu looked great, too. Nice ambiance...not your average bakery. Here's a tip... Take out your order and drive up Pitt Street a mile or so until you reach a walking bridge. You'll see some benches where... More

My mother and I were riding around looking at the area and we came upon this little gem. The chicken and mozzarella salad were both delicious. If we ever happen to be around again, we'd definitely stop again.

Cool little Cafe. Food was good... had an Eggplant Bisque + Half sandwich (without bread) on a bed of greens. WiFi advertised, but in actuality did not work. Comfortable, breezy (holes in walls were a bit drafty, so bundle up inside if you dine in cooler months). SaleebScore: Food: 8/10; Service: 8/10; Atmosphere: if you are crunchy: 9/10; a Republican:... More
