These truly are the biggest "regular" cakes I have ever seen. Yum! Great coffee and nice specialty sandwiches.

Breakfast, lunch or deserts - this is the place if you are in the Mt. Pleasant/Charleston area. In "old" Mt. Pleasant and you need to drive through the neighborhood to see the beautiful homes. But you need to stop in the Village Bakery as well. We have had both breakfast and lunch and always save room to at least share... More

We recently rented a house near here for a week while on vacation. This place was walking distance and "cute" as my wife calls it. We ate breakfast here and found the portions of oatmeal and pancakes along with the side of fruit to be generous. The bacon seemed to be over cooked while the pancakes seemed to be slightly... More

Our lunch at the Village Bakery in Mt. Pleasant was a highlight of a visit to the area. It's super friendly, with an eclectic crowd and energetic employees. Great decor that screams "We're independent & different & proud of it!". Our sandwiches were fairly priced, arrived at our table quickly, and, most importantly, tasted like they were prepared with love... More

Great sandwiches and salads. Wonderful favors. Try the BLT or tarragon chicken sandwiches. High quality and generous portions.

Neat little place in the best village of the Charleston area (my opinion). This is in the old Mt. Pleasant area, which is such worth the trip to view the quaint homes. The Village Bakery is a bit pricey, but delicious. We ordered the Toll House pie and Key Lime pie. Both homemade as all food is, and fresh as... More

All orders are made to order. Choice of soup, salad, sandwich, quiche, and wonderful homemade deserts. Not fancy at all, located in an old house in the old village. You get you own drinks, the door doesn't always close all the way, few tables, BUT my girlfriends go here often....It is soooo good!

While others have posted about the evening menu at the Village bakery, I felt that the lack of detail hindered others from trying it out. So I wanted to write my review of a meal with my wife and two other friends on Friday April 19, 2013. First let me say that this is a cafe style setting, holding at... More
