Took some friends out for a special evening and had searched for just the right place. Thank goodness we chose Brentwood with chef Eric Massion! The food was delicious in every regard (fresh, light, yummy!), the atmosphere fantastic, and our waiter (I thought his name was Joe but by reading the reviews I am now thinking it must have been... An amazing anniversary get together with none other then the top notch waiter James, who is by far, the best bar tender and waiter in the place! We started off with escargot, she crab soup, and wine that James recommended, which complemented everything perfectly! Actually James up sold us on 3 bottles,1 latour pinot noir, and 2 cotes de Rhone,... More

If you want to be pampered, ask for James! Brentwood is a gem! Our dining experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The atmosphere, service and food was superb! An interesting and relaxing place.

I have high expectations when I dine at a gourmet restaurant and the Brentwood did not disappoint me. From the moment that we entered the restaurant and received a very friendly greeting from the person who showed us to our table upstairs until the time that we left the restaurant just after 2 hours later, everything was first class. The... More

The restaurant reminded me of my grandmother house in Pittsburgh in the 1950s. The staff made my cousin and our wives feel like that's WHERE WE WERE. Each and every course was delicious. The wine exceptional, and chatting with the owner priceless. It was truly a trip to Paris and should be on every vacationers and locals list of places... More

Between entering (and usually winning) local culinary competitions, physically expanding his restaurant, taking people on guided tours of Bordeaux and then actually running the kitchen nightly, I am not sure when or even if Chef Eric Masson sleeps. We had a delightful evening here with friends. While I have been to France and had a wonderful time, I am no... More

My girlfriend and I sat in the upstairs bar where our server, James, provided first-rate service along with everyone else on staff. I have served in numerous restaurants and would consider it a privilege to serve courses so beautiful and well-prepared. The food was the best I've ever tasted from appetizer to entree and dessert. This place touches on all... More

Absolutely love this place. We recently attended a wine club event at the Brentwood which happens every month. We have been to a few of these events which are great because they do all the work of selecting the best wine pairing to go along with the meal that is served. This is a great place for the foodies and... More

It's been two years since we last ate here, and it has not changed - still first class. The atmosphere is old country house, the service is professional, the menu is limited but diverse, the food presentation is beautiful, and the flavors are spot-on delicious. If you want traditional southern fare, heavy on fried foods, go somewhere else. If you... More
