We had the most wonderful evening from beginning to end at the Brentwood. First, the restaurant is just beautiful, outside and inside. The staff is not only very nice, but well-informed about everything on the menu and they were able to recommend excellent wines at moderate prices. Lastly, the food was exceptional. I had the Duck (Confit & Seared Duck... More

We were looking forward to a special evening primarily based on these reviews. In short we were only there about 20 minutes since someone did not notate our reservation and they were at capacity. Finally, we were seated upstairs which was going through a renovation. Very unpleasant with an overwhelming odor from paint and little, if any AC. Needless to... More

First off, I would like to apologize for your terrible experience at the Brentwood this week, this has never happened before and I can understand your profound disappointment with us. Apparently a glitch in our Open Table system erased your reservation. I know it was entered in the system since I'm the one who took your call. But this is... More

This was our first visit to the Brentwood but won't be the last. It is a grand old house with several dining rooms and 2 bar areas. The food good, ambiance and service was very good. Our waiter, Ross, was attentive but not intrusive. We had the Duck Duo and the Shrimp/Scampi dishes along with their Signature Merlot and Viognier.... More

We went to Brentwood last night as a group of 11 hungry golfers. The atmosphere was comfortable and they put us in a private room. The service was exceptional. The food selection was large, local and very typical French. All 11 dishes came out simultaneous and hot. The flavors were stimulating. The chefs special of pasta with shrimp and scallops... More

We have ate at the Brentwood for the past 8 years and every year it has been a dining pleasure. My wife had the shrimp and scallop chardonnay while I had the duck. Both meals were excellent along with the service and atmosphere. This is one of the finest restaurants my wife and I have dined at. If you are... More

Absolutely lovely meal. Nice to have the Chef visit the table. We all had different selections for each course and each one was incredible. Cannot stop thinking about my chocolate souffle. It will be our new favorite restaurant...Highly recommend...

Who would think that Little River, S.C. would have a very fine French restaurant. But The Brentwood is. The food is very good, and the service is first class. The seafood is primarily very fresh and local. The lamb is outstanding. And the desserts wonderful. We have eaten there 4 or 5 times, and the food and service are always... More

We wanted to go to a fine restaurant to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, so the Brentwood was pretty much our first choice. As expected, it was an outstanding experience in every respect: food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. Also a complimentary dessert for our 20th. Very highly recommended!

Yes, it is "fabulously delicious". We didn't have a reservation, but we were lucky enough to get in Monday night to celebrate my husband's birthday! We were so happy that we took the chance of going early and getting a table. Our waiter, Eric was the best. We both started with the Low Country She Crab Soup. Then, we had... More
