It's my choice for my birthday lunch or dinner.....and any other time we celebrate...or NOT!!! Veal piccata is my favorite, but I've never had anything I didn't love! Servers are friendly; portions not overly large....good to leave space for great desserts!

Though not particularly unique, the food is typically good (though on occasions it has been disappointing). It's relatively standard fair for an Italian chain restaurant. The bartenders are very accommodating and willing to mix up something new and interesting upon request.

This trip we really enjoyed the sliced beef with mushroom Demi glacé and the best salmon dish ever, a nut encrusted (forget which nut) with a great sauce, on the menu, will try again! The booths are so well thought out and comfortable. Cocktails and wine are always perfect and service is spot on. People watching is also a favorite... More

We tried to go on a Friday night, hostess said on the phone no problem at about 7 pm. WRONG. Wait was over half an hour, so we went some where else. Came back Saturday night and got a table right away. Very good service, wine for tasting if you can't decide. The offer small servings, which I always appreciate... More

We celebrated my wife's birthday with a group of friends. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they had. I had the chicken marsala which was scrumptious. My wife had the beef medallions and loved it. Deserts were wonderful, also. The service was excellent. The pricing was reasonable (except for the wine). Great place to go with friends or the one... More

My son is getting married in October in Woodbridge Va. We had already had one horrible meal in choosing the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner and now our plans were once again up in the air as I flew home to Charleston SC without a rehearsal venue. So back to the internet. My son mentioned Travinia Italian Kitchen was in... More

As Italians, we appreciate good Italian food which is not always the case in the "wannabes"..this one, Travinia's on unset Blvd. is authenic Italian and a much enjoyed discovery. Highly recommend the veal.

Travinias is one of the nicest restaurants in Lexington. The food is great, the service is good and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The only cons are that it gets very crowded at night, the lights are a little low to read menus, etc and it's pricey but well worth it.
