The breakfast buffet was very good. The omelets made to order were a real treat. The staff was outstanding.

My first meal in Kiawah Island. The Sanctuary Hotel is so elegant and beautiful. Lunch at Jasmine Porch was divine. The dining room is stately and luxurious and the perfect introduction to true southern charm. The bread and unbelievable butter might have been the best part of the meal. I had the She Crab soup and Kale salad. Both were... More

My family had dinner at Jasmine Porch for our first night at the Sanctuary. The restaurant itself is beautiful and large. The staff were all very nice and started out by bringing us one of the most delicious bread baskets I've ever had. There were three types of bread: biscuits, honey infused bread, and baguettes. WOW. The rest of the... More

I have a faint recollection of not caring for this last year and here we are again. We are on the island for new years and this is the big brunch new year's day. Our reservation was for 1pm and the table was ready at 1:30. The staff were nice but a little slow. Long waits for coffee and drinks... More

We went with a large party after the Kiawah Island marathon. The atmosphere is very nice - old southern plantation feel. The room was large with high ceilings but yet felt warm and inviting. The service was excellent - we were seated promptly and the server was attentive, water was always full. There were 10 of us and there was... More

Amazing. We selected the Tour of the Lowcountry. The first course was SheCrab Bisque and Fried Green Tomato. Both were fabulous. The sauce on the tomato was yummy! Second course choice was the grilled filet mignon and shrimp and grits. Cooked to perfection. Finally desert...Caroling Peach Bread Pudding. Speechless. Service was fantastic. A must when you are in the Sanctuary... More

The Jasmine Porch is one of the more casual restaurants at the Sanctuary. (You can wear jeans, which I really appreciate.) The restaurant is tastefully decorated, the staff is very courteous and the food is delicious (more so dinner than lunch). Upon being seated, the waiter will ask you if you have any food allergies, and if so will assure... More
