Mr Bags said his chicken sandwich was the best ever. The customer care from Donovan was exceptional. The setting is stunning. We had been told to go to Kiawah but did not realise that this was a secure mostly private island. Just tell the gate you are going to the sanctuary and they let you in. Although not cheap, it... We dined at the Loggerhead Grill on several occasions for lunch, as it served as a great meeting place for a midday break. The menu is somewhat limited; however, wet thoroughly enjoyed each item that we experienced during our stay. The staff is friendly and gracious to a fault, and we truly enjoyed relaxed lunches there.

While our kids were enjoying the dive in movie under the stars/next to the ocean, we stopped by this poolside bar for drinks and appetizers with our cousins. The chips/guacamole were tasty and the drinks were good (although a little on the small side). The best part was the service - very attentive and courteous as you would expect at... More

I had lunch here two times. The first time I had a fish blt. It was pretty good. The second time I had the fish tacos. I didn't think that they were good. Both items were about $20 a piece. That's ridiculous even for a pool side bar. After my second lunch I went elsewhere and I was very happy... More

This was a nice poolside restaurant. We had to wait about 10minutes to be seated despite there being unoccupied tables and tables that just needed to be bussed. Once seated, we had a leisurely meal with good mixed drinks (there is a pretty nice list to choose from). My husband had a hamburger with seasoned fries; which he enjoyed. I... More

This pool deck restaurant enjoys ocean views, and ocean breezes to go along with the beautiful pools. The menu features standards done well and fresh fruits and vegetables. The servers are knowledgeable and have worked there many seasons.

I had just finished a long bike ride while my husband was playing golf. I had gotten a little lost and ended up biking 15 miles instead of the 5-7 that I had planned. So when I arrived, I was grimy, sweaty and thirsty. I was still treated like I was royalty. My waiter made sure that I never ran... More

This is the pool bar and grill at The Sanctuary. My husband and I wanted to like it, because we wanted to eat lunch outside during our vacation. We ate there for three lunches and tried a variety of their drinks over our week's stay. All were awful, and they were pricey as well.

Crab salad was delicious, portions large, drinks icy cold! Servers very busy but attentive and extremely personable.

Jermaine made our special day perfect with champagne and a dessert plate that included the most fabulous pineapple dipped in dark chocolate and coconut...sooo sweet! We came back and ate again the next day because the food was so yummy!
