A nice breakfast...anytimee

A bright spot on Kiawah where you can get breakfast all day until 2PM. Great menu. I had eggs benedict and others had omelets. Cooked very well with excellent flavor. Pricing a little high but in line with a resort. Service was impeccable. Ask for Donald..he has worked there 15 years.

These folks don't advertise gluten-free or have any notation on the menu, but they readily agreed to my request that they fix my breakfast in a separate pan. Delicious hash and eggs came to the table in the skillet. Expensive for breakfast but this is Kiawah, everything is overpriced!

After biking from the Turtle Point Villas in East Beach, I found my way to Straw Market and decided I deserved a nice breakfast at Southern Kitchen. I was happy to see that the restaurant was casual, as I was in my casual biking clothes. Friendly waiters greeted me with that special Kiawah charm. I started off with a cappuccino... More

I am NOT a fan of resort dining, however, we stopped in at Southern Kitchen. We were not disappointed. Typical breakfast set up with a bar and tall boy tables and outdoor seating. My wife ordered PRALINE FRENCH TOAST...Cinnamon Spiced French Bread with Fresh Berries and Maple Syrup. Very good but obviously very sweet. I went for the CORNED BEEF... More

We wanted to try this restaurant as we heard the food was pretty good. It wasn't overly busy at breakfast, but had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Once seated it was 5 minutes before we were brought a menu and our drink order was taken. Our drinks were brought but our order was not taken. Seriously, we... More

This place was just across from the villa I stayed in at Kiawah Island. I had an omelet that had ham and pimento cheese in it. It also came with toast and hash browns. It was good, but not excellent. I enjoyed sitting on the screened porch as much as the breakfast.

Service with a smile at one of the best restaurants on the island. If you like coffee, they make a great Latte - which is often overlooked. Everyone here cares about the food and service. They have fantastic poached eggs, always done perfectly. The French toast is very good, and so it the jalpeno bacon - which comes on the... More

Food is bar style food with limit imagination from the cook. Burgers are $14 and not good at all. I can't imagine this restaurant ever gaining a repeat customer. Hostess and waiter performed very well.

I went there three times during a five day trip to Kiawah, mostly because it's the only breakfast option nearby. Between what I had and what I tried from my friends' plates, I had several different entrees there. In general, everything was good. The Eggs Benedict and the corned beef hash were both fantastic. The biscuits and gravy were solid.... More

Had wonderful brunch on screened in porch. Our group of five people had a variety of dishes, including the chicken and waffles, grits, fried green tomatoes, omelet, and corned beef hash. Everyone was quite happy with their food. Portions were generous. Prices were reasonable compared to the expensive prices that we found everywhere in the area.
