Great selection of local beers

intimate and relaxing casual place to grab a bite. 6 tv screens great for watching the games. Chicken wings were pricey but good and the bar tender Patrick was knowledgeable about beer and food.

First for all of you not familiar with Kiawah Island, it is a gated secured community. We had to pass through not one but 2 check points to get to Cherrywood BBQ. We had a paper from each one to put on the dashboard of our vehicle. That being said, we had decided ahead of time to order the pulled... More

When we finally found the restaurant or should I say the clubhouse at the golf course, we were reluctant but decided to try it. I am regretting that choice now that I am back at the hotel. My son ate one wing, they were bland at best. I had the ribs that everyone raved about. They were awful! Stopped at... More

We came to Cherrywood BBQ on last year's Kiawah Island trip and remember loving this place for lunch. We were slightly disappointed with this visit. Service was lacking and we had to wait quite a long time for a server to approach our table. The brisket was not as moist as last time and tasted slightly "old". The coleslaw was... More

Half rack will be plenty for those with even a hearty appetite. Get a whole rack if you dare! It was quiet being winter hours but totally enjoyed the ribs and a couple of cold ones. Cornbread was ok as was the slaw. Ribs were the standout, mopped with sauce and other sauces available for changing it up.

Just like everything at Kiawah Golf resort, this place is overpriced. $25 for a cheeseburger! I don't mind spending for a nice meal, but the food should justify the prices. There is really no ambiance to speak of, though they do have outdoor dining which probably would be nice but it was dark when we arrived. My BBQ chicken was... More

Not sure how this place got any any positive reviews. We would give it one star if not for the views (when sitting outside). The food is a step above airline meals. The ambiance inside is boring. If you want bbq I recommend just taking the 35 minute drive into Charleston. Too bad, really wanted to like this place.

We ordered food for takeout (a few platter combos - ribs and chicken) along with some sides and an appetizer which we didn't receive. It was pricey and the ribs were disappointing. The sides were small, 2 items were left off our order and the bill was close to $100. In addition, the google address was incorrect and therefore it... More

This restaurant that specializes in BBQ food is just average when it comes to that type of food. They try real hard to be different but they just miss the mark. When our group of 8 arrived with reservations, they sat us at a table that was at a window and the sun was so strong that we asked to... More

Went here for dinner on one of our nights on Kiawah. We made a reservation but probably didn't need one. We were seated in a standard room within the clubhouse, which made us feel like weren't in a restaurant. We ordered a bunch of different entrees and they arrived pretty quickly leaving us to believe it was just sitting in... More
