The staff was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed sampling flights of beer, but the food was disappointing (no one in our party of 9 had a meal worth bragging about) yet our bill was very expensive.

We went here for a late lunch and chose to eat out on the veranda overlooking the golf course. There was a nice breeze and there are also fans to circulate the air. There is a small pond below the veranda and we got to see an alligator sunning itself on the shore during our lunch. My husband had a... More

The food here is delicious! It's straight-up BBQ without much variation, so if you need variety for all members of your party it might not be the place to go. That said, the smoked chicken is fantastic and the view is great if you sit on the porch. Be sure to walk the path out back to do some gator-spotting!

Nice atmosphere, staff was friendly. BBQ and other food was good, but I would definitely have expected something more exceptional for the price. My husband had ribs that were well cooked, but most of the flavor came from the bottled sauces provided on the table.

the bbq was excellent. Pulling up to the Osprey Point golf clubhouse, that housed the restaurant, it doesn't look like a bbq joint. The food was outstanding, but expensive. For example, a combo plate of chicken/pulled pork with 1 side= $25.....much more that the same thing at a local bbq restaurant. But you have to remember you're at a resort... More

As a respite from our tour of South Carolina BBQ joints, we spent the weekend at Kiawah golfing. with reservations most evenings in the "finer" restaurants, we opted on our one open evening to sample Cherrywood BBQ's smoke. Ribs were excellent, especially dry, while the 20 hours of smoking of the brisket proved to be time not well spent, as... More

Small portions, average quality, slow, very expensive for the quality they served...and pompous attitude....also no integrity due to overcharging my cc by $18.00 The HOA must be proud. This family of 5 won't be back. P.S. I normally don't write reviews...this beautiful venue was a big letdown...the ONLY ok part of meal was the sauce on the ribs.

While staying on Kiawah Island for a week this March, we dined at Cherrywood one night. Delicious BBQ and a great craft beer list. Slightly overpriced, but it is resort dining. If you get the ribs, go for the sauce instead of dry rub. They're delicious. Coleslaw and onion rings are the 2 best sides. Great service and decent views... More

My wife and I ate here last week and found the food to be quite good. We each had a sandwich and a drink. The sandwiches were nice and thick, good cut of meat and really enjoyable. This place has changed completely over the years. Our daughter was married here 12 years ago when it was more of a fine... More

Great casual meal. We had the BBQ nachos and the beef brisket (marinated over 20 hours). The meat was tender and well seasoned. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone on the island.
