We were last here several years ago, but today we took our 17 and 20 year old sons for an impromptu lunch. The food was excellent (especially the onion rings, cooked perfectly). If you are staying on Kiawha, this is a must do. Not crowded, wonderful service and incredible view.

Beautiful ocean views. Club/pub atmosphere. Expensive but great food. Have drinks outdoors before dinner overlooking the golf course and the beach.

The Ocean Course is one of the best golf courses in the country. Very exclusive, very expensive to play. And it does have it's fine dining restaurant - The Atlantic Room. But our family of nine (four teenagers) had a great dinner and sunset adventure there. We knew that we had to go early, so we showed up at 5:30.... More

Our server, Winston, was perfectly charming. Food choice was extensive for a "bar". After and before the meal we lounged on the porch in rocking chairs, watching golfers tackle the 18th, as well as cute toddlers "practicing" on the putting green. The ocean breeze kept us comfortable. A wonderful place!

Great view of the 18th whole and the dunes of Kiawah Island. Can get a little busy, but food is reasonably priced (especially compared to the Atlantic Room or dinner at the Sanctuary). Tons of golf history around which is fun. Strongly recommend getting there early and enjoying some drinks on the rocking chars on the wrap around porch.

The food is okay, not great but the atmosphere and service make it worth it.... We enjoyed their oyster selection but found their peel and eat shrimp too spicy, our favorite us their crispy shrimp hands down, simply delicious and we fought over their bread pudding

You can't make reservations. We had a 60+ minute wait on a Thursday night. After the food arrived, we wished we had gone elsewhere. It was good but not on par (so to speak) with other "precious" restaurants we have tried that do not accept reservations. The view was spectacular, however, and there were a nice assortment of cocktails from... More

View overlooking the green and ocean is amazing. Food and service very good. Had the fish tacos, mahi-mahi, with good chicken wings as appetizer. Kids had good food also. Expect a wait for an outside table if going at peak times

We had lunch at the Ryder Cup Bar. Got the last 2 seats at the bar! Spectactular view of the golf course and the Atlantic Ocean. There is indoor & outdoor seating. Lunch was delicious. I had one of the best bloody mary's ever. Husband was happy with the beer. We had decent fried green tomatoes and salads. I had... More

The food at the Ryder Cup Bar is really good. The service is good as well, but we go to the Ryder Cup as many times as possible during our stay because the course is gorgeous, and the ocean view is stunning. We always sit on the porch during our June visit and I do wear bug spray.
