We've been staying on Kiawah Island for the week and had dinner and drinks one night to watch the sunset. I had the pecan encrusted chicken salad which was way to salty, but our cocktails and wine were delicious. Others in our party had the fish tacos (average), burger (great), and blackened chicken sandwich (too salty/spicy). Service was fine, but... More

We headed for the Ryder Cup Bar at the Ocean Course on a rainy, windy evening. Yet despite the lack of sunset (darn it!) we had a wonderful view. We could still watch the ocean, and saw the storm roll towards Kiawah. We nabbed a table right in front of the fireplace, so we were toasty & comfortable. The Lowcountry... More

What could be better? You get to watch the 18th hole of the Ocean Course while enjoying great pub fare. My burger was amazing as well as the jerked chicken sandwich the second time I went. Also neat to see celebrities eating in there as well. February was a little chilly and windy, but I have eaten there in August.... More

Have dined at all the 'fine" restaurants on the island and found them average at best except when it comes to price then they way above average. The Ryder Cup Bar while not a true restaurant, more of a relaxed bar food dining spot has them all beat. World class view especially around sunset and a good substantial bar food... More

Went there for lunch on a rainy day. Food was great (must try the onion rings), and the view overlooking number 18 is great. Staff was friendly and provided good service. I recommend it.

The burger in the bar has been consistently as good as you can get in the Charleston area. It is a little pricey but you are at Kiawah Island. The view is fabulous. You are looking at the 18th hole green with the ocean 200 feet away. In nice weather you can sit on the surround porch. You must go... More

Great bar menu and drinks. I have eaten here many times and although expensive the ambiance makes it worth it.

First you cannot beat the view. And service was attentive and friendly. I had the clam chowder which was flavorful and warming. My daughter had the low country pimento cheese and fried green tomato sandwich.....South Carolina cuisine at its best! Worth the drive, enjoy the views and a great lunch

The Ryder Cup Bar at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island is a great place to watch the sunset and their food is excellent. Truly one of the best places on the East Coast - the scenery is spectacular and the staff is excellent. Our new favorite place for an informal dinner with friends.
