The food here is not a 5 star experience. It may even be a 3. But go here for the views. There isn't a bad seat in the house whether your indoors or sitting on the patio.

Stopped in after golfing the Ocean Course and we weren't disappointed! We had the bagger burger and the turkey burgerwith onion ring sides and weren't disappointed. Service was excellent even though it was crowded! The view and the history make this a great place to have lunch and watch the golfers struggle up to the 18 green to finish a... More

I have enjoyed several meals here over the years. The food is consistently very good. I had crab cake sandwich and great onion rings. Others had burgers, fancy grilled cheese sandwiches, salmon salad, and shrimp and grits. Service is excellent. The view at sunset is incredible. It was very busy and loud during dinner. A quieter meal can be had... More

beautiful scenery, great service, tasty menu. it's hard to beat the outdoor tables, next to the manicured 18th hole, under Carolina spring sunshine with a calm ocean breeze. another jewel of the island

had an amazing meal, although they did not offer many vegetarian options, the one that they did offer was superb. squash steak, spinach, asparagus and fennel - all flavorful, they also had delicious onion rings. my husband had a delicious rib eye special - although they did not offer the price and he was surprised to see it was $50... The atmosphere is electric with the PGA course, the ocean and the 18th green. The food was all very good. We had a really good time here and wanted to go back but didn't have enough time!

We had several meals here during our trip. Both times we ate outside, which was good as the AC was really cranked up inside. The food was great and the staff very accommodating of our party of eight. The view of the 18th green and the sunset over the marsh were both great.

The food at the Ryder Cup bar is excellent. Service is always the best. My family vacation in Kiawah every year and we go out to the Ocean Course to have dinner at the Ryder Cup bar a few times during the week. The shrimp appetizer is the best in world. You won't find better cooked shrimp. Always perfect! Our... More

The Ocean Course is not the easiest to bag a par, in fact it is the hardest course in the country, but the Ryder Cup bar is a great place to sit and talk about the ups and downs of the day. The bar staff are hard working and friendly which is essential as the place gets very busy at... More
