We went with a group during a weekend stay at Kiawah. As a group we gave it thumbs up. The food was good. I had a sort of tomato-based seafood stew, which was good, but not as good as my wife's mussels in a sauce flavored by sausage. The other 5 in our party all liked what they ordered. One... More

Maybe because I'd read a lot of negative reviews here, I didn't have high expectations, but we really enjoyed our meal here. They were very accomodating with kids, the room was pleasant, service excellent. I thought the homemade pasta was very good and the bolognese sauce authentic and fresh. We also tried lasagna, calamari, salads; all very good as well.... More

Love this Italian restaurant in Fresh Fields Village at Kiawah Island. Really good pizza with different choices from the ho hum red sauce cheese. We tried the prosciutto and arugula pizza and loved it. Our grandchildren also loved the pasta and sauce and the wait staff was very accommodating. We'll be back!

Went here for dinner during out trip to Kiawah. We had lowered expectations after eating at another restaurant on the island but had read some decent reviews of the restaurant. We had a friendly waiter who was very attentive and tried to accommodate all that we needed. The food was good but not overly impressive. We ordered a variety of... More

This was a great dining experience. The menu was extensive thus providing something for every taste. It was crowded with a brief wait, but worth it. The service at the bar and dinner table were friendly, knowledgable, and happy to be there... just as were we.

Our server was great. The food was good- mussels are tasty. Pastas and gnocchi were also good. It's pricey, but that's to be expected. The ambience, for me, was odd. It's a small room, and it feels like the room is usually used for something else, but someone decided to put a bunch of tables in the room and call... More

We were visiting the Sanctuary Hotel and planned on eating lunch at Tomasso. We didn't realize it was a couple miles away on the golf course. We knew lunch was available in the bar area, which had a few tables adjacent to the bar. The bartender was the only one servicing about five groups of people eating lunch. We ordered... More

The bar area is casual, and the bartenders are very nice. The food is excellent. I had mussels one night and linguine with clams another night. Both were delicious.

Even though we did not have reservations, we were seated immediately. Drinks arrived quickly. Food was very good and the selection for entrees was more than adequate. Dessert was lemon and raspberry sherbet. Very refreshing after a long drive in the rain. Great service.

This was our first time dining at Tomasso and we would definitely go back. We started off with the mussels, which were wonderful in the well seasoned broth. The sausage and tomatoes in it were also very good. The special salad for the night was an arugula salad with grilled peaches and buffalo mozzarella. Both my husband and I thought... More
