Bar food if needed in a rush

A wonderful setting for marginal dining. If you need to eat, it is fine. We would encourage you to try something different. The burger was OK. I enjoy a good pretzel roll, but this one was cold. Perhaps if they toasted it. We both had sandwiches as recomended, thought we had done well to replace... read more

Located across the street from our hotel on Kiawah Island, we visited the King Street Grille for cocktails and went back twice for dinner. Friendly staff and great service! Love a Pittsburgh bar!

I have visited this establishment multiple times and everytime the food is sub par to horrific at best. The only good thing was the bartender Lisa that made our experience worth while. I heard she was let go so I will not be back. The only bright spot of the place is gone now. Terrible management to match thd food.... More

The King Street Grille on Kiawah Island is in a great spot to do well, very few dining options on the whole island. On a Thursday night we waited an hour to get a table after putting our name on the wait list, then another hour to get served (just for hamburgers!), with several tables empty. The excuse was the... Had the burger with fried egg on top. It was very good but seemed like the rest of the families meal was sub par at best. Granted it was take out so maybe if we got a table the next time it would be better!

We ate here 2 nights. The first night we were really looking for a place to watch the basketball game so this was perfect. Their chicken with crab sandwich was yummy. We went back for 1/2 price salad day and that's a great deal. You pick all your toppings and it totally filled us up for dinner. It can be... More

We went to Freshfield Farms for lunch and decided on eating at King Street Grille. We were sat quickly and had a nice, attentive waitress. We started the meal with the egg roll sampler. We really enjoyed them. When the meals came one was incorrect. They quickly replaced the sandwich and also removed from the bill. Everyone else's meal was... More

Took the family to Kiawah Island Freshfields for lunch...undercooked pasta for the kids mac n cheese, thai lettuce wrap came with 4 minuscule pieces of steak and a bunch of dry carrot shreds, waitress said the mountain dew machine was broken but set a glass of carbonated water in front of me and walked away, spanish fly burger did not... this place could be great if they put more effort into the quality of their food. Nachos were terrible and more like cheese wiz poured over cold chips. Salad could have been fresher. It's a shame because this place will thrive regardless due to the location and access to vacationers. I hope the owners do something to fix it.

Typical pub fare here... Nothing we tried was exceptional. Wings were sub-par (bones split apart, making them very hard to eat... this typically indicates poor-quality raw materials), burgers average, salad average. The outside of the building is very nice... The niceness does not carry over to the interior. The whole place has a "less-than-clean" appearance. This includes (as other reviews... More
