We are a multi generational family, greeted warmly and given a spacious table w high chair. The walls are FULL of TV's which makes for a very noisy restaurant. We all liked the food. I might go back but the noise and multiple TV's would deter me. Not conducive to any conversations at our table. :(

This was our first restaurant experience outside The Sanctuary at Kiawah. We were staying at the absolutely awesome Andell Inn across the street. So this restaurant was hard to miss. The outdoor dining spaces seemed great. Inside it was so crowded on a Monday night that we sat at the bar to eat. Good thing, as I peeked into the... More

My wife and I visited King Street as our first restaurant on the island. We had just arrived in town and didn't want to get all dressed up to go to a nice place. We were surprised when we arrived that the outdoor seating area is well appointed and inviting. The sunset behind the hotel next to us was very... More

The chicken cheasapeake was good. The wedge fries excellent. The other offerings ordered by the seven of us were average. The service was ok, seemed understaffed. The wait from ordering to receiving was unacceptable, 50 minutes. Atmosphere was standard sports bar type comfort food type.

The other low-end reviews sum this place up. Loud, kinda dark sports bar, mediocre to poor service, a bit dirty. It's at the edge of Freshfields Village near the Andell Inn, so it's keeping up the Freshfields tradition of high prices and mediocre quality. Wait staff seemed a bit put out that we were there. The restaurant wasn't full when... More

We were staying at the Andell Inn in Freshfields, which is literally across the street; so this was a no-brainer place to eat on our first night's stay. We got a table outside, facing the Andell Inn lagoon. Service was very mediocre, considering the place was not that busy. Began w/ beer & salads, which were nothing special. Wife had... More

By looking at the menu, we knew that we would be getting typical pub fare of a chain restaurant quality, and that's exactly what we got. It was OK.

Went here for a casual dinner while staying across the street. I had a steak sandwich and it was very very good. The bread tasted like it was baked just a few hours beforehand.

My husband and I stopped by before hitting the grocery store for drinks and an appetizer. We sat at the bar and decided on the wings. Everyone likes their wings a different way but we thought they were great, cooked exactly the way we requested!
