Since opening in 2009, Sunrise has been satisfying hungry passers-by with simple, comforting food made with care and without pretension - like mom might make. There are favorites for breakfast (until 11:30 a.M.) Like french toast, enchiladas rancheros, homemade bagels, open-faced omelets, and breakfast pizzas. If you find yourself near this corner of Johns Island, stop in - you'll leave well-fed.

Great Find!

Just. Love the assortment of choices for breakfast, have not tried dinner, but had lunch once. Always great. Our go to place for a good breakfast nearby!

It was refreshing to find a place for breakfast that was not a buffet or greasy spoon. The food is freshly made and delicious. Enough choices to suit the whole family. The restaurant is located in a strip mall at the corner of Maybank and Main. If you are not paying attention, you will drive right by it.

I live on Johns Island, and try to eat here once a week. Consistent food, great service. They are helpful enough and not annoying with their customer service. If you are out on Johns Island I would encourage you to stop by.

Great little bistro for breakfast or lunch. Food is wonderful! Couples or small groups seating is limited.

You wouldn't think that a place in a strip mall on four corners of a highway would be anything but a breakfast/lunch "joint". Well, we were visiting Charleston and visited the Charleston Tea Plantation down the road from the Bistro. Looking for lunch, we tried several places (one closed, one just a market), and then spotted this place. Wow!! What... More

Amazing breakfast & super friendly staff. My husband and I are part time residents here and this is our first stop the morning after we arrive. I always get the Jessica Ann omelette (basil, tomato, feta, purple onion) and my husband alternates between a breakfast burrito and a couple other items. I believe the bread is homemade...everything is always so... More

Its hard to bring myself to write this, as you always hope places don't get too "discovered" because its pretty damn perfect for what it is. After driving past many times - it's a tin shed next to a tax office, a chiropractor, on a crossroads for goodness sake - we tried the Bistro for breakfast and were immediately in... More

We were told by a local to make sure to give this a shot. My wife and I tried each of the specials and the kids had biscuits and gravy. The food was fresh and very tasty, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely go back!
