Since opening in 2009, Sunrise has been satisfying hungry passers-by with simple, comforting food made with care and without pretension - like mom might make. There are favorites for breakfast (until 11:30 a.M.) Like french toast, enchiladas rancheros, homemade bagels, open-faced omelets, and breakfast pizzas. If you find yourself near this corner of Johns Island, stop in - you'll leave well-fed.

Unusual fare on John's Island

A fine, relaxed, diner at a major intersection - delightful and filling fresh food, always welcome. An inexpensive lunch and unhurried atmosphere.

Best breakfast in town. Love the breakfast burrito. I'd come here every day if I could. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, well priced meal.

If you are looking for the best lunch on the island this is the place. Locals would not keep coming back if it were not so good! Excellent food at a very reasonable price .

Just visited Sunrise Bistro for the first time and what a delightful surprise! The modest location and building hide a real jewel of a place. The homemade biscuits and herb bread were so tasty, but my favorite was the bacon. It was perfect! Can't wait to go back!

on the corner of Maybank and Main sits this small treasure of a restaurant. There are so many choices and each one is as exceptionally good as the other. The omelets are not the big overly puffy things with pancake mix added for oomph. They are gems made with fresh eggs and your choices of ingredients or pick from the... More

Glad I read the reviews. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Had the turkey sandwich on herb bread and the coconut bomb and they were excellent! The server was tall dark and handsome with a wonderful deep voice. Even though I could be his mother, he was very helpful and fun! Seems a favorite with locals too.

I ordered the Jessica Ann open faced omelet and when told it came with herbed toast I decided to give it a try. I was really surprised that it had a drizzle of olive oil on it for breakfast, but when I tasted it, it was AWESOME! goodbye butter & jelly. They make their own fresh breads and bagels, so make... We grabbed take out on our way home from our trip. Egg sandwiches on bagels. The bagels are different from what we are used to in the North East but overall was tasty and a great value

Excellent place for breakfast or brunch with fresh food choices, nicely prepared and presented. Drove by several times before realizing it was not a tattoo parlor! Staff is down to earth and friendly and the place has a very comfortable vibe. Lots of great choices and reasonable prices...you will like this place!
