It's all about the food! The service is great and to the point. The ambiance is low-key and unassuming. Three of us had lunch and each ordered completely different items from the menu. Everyone at the table was delighted with their meals. Fun aisles of gift and food items to poke around in while you're waiting for your meal or... More

Very casual café and market. The food was great and served very quickly. Great place for a quick lunch!

Such a wonderful farm family owns and operates this little gem on Johns Island. They only serve lunch so get there early as it is packed every day.

I always look at the rate in of a resturant after I have eaten there. Well let me say the Tomato Shed Cafe is wrong. They should be #1. Had lunch Saturday and it was fabulous. The pork tenderloin was tender and juicy. My wife had the Italian meatloaf and it melted in your mouth. As for the sides, if... More

I can't stop thinking about the yummy tomato pie! Along with the Crab cakes, BBQ pork, burgers, mac & cheese, corn bread and biscuit! Everything was great and with such warm southern hospitality! Will definitely return shortly!! Worth the stop!!

They are only open for lunch, but well worth the trip to Johns Island!! Great Southern style food...daily meat specials and wonderful vegetables from the original tomatoe pie, squash casserole, roasted okra (healthier than the usual fried okra, but just as tasty), and butter beans. I am not a fan of the cornbread, but my husband loves the sweet flavor.... More

Brought my best friend for a birthday lunch and was impressed again with the food. We both had the Grouper and grits, mac and cheese and squash casserole, as always, it was delicious. I do believe they should expand for more tables since the store is mingled in with the restaurant to accommodate more people. Also when your seated we... More

A great place to go when you and your significant other want a southern home cooked meal at a quaint cafe. Fast and friendly service. Self-serve ice tea and lemonade. Everything was fresh and tasted great. There is a little store in the back where you can purchase local grown produce.

The cafe is aptly desrcibed by it name - a country market shed within it is the cafe. We were efficiently shown to our table by a lady who informed us that she had worked in the restaurant fort 14 years, who was clearly very proud of her cafe. We were told to help ourselves to decaf coffee and house... More

We stopped here with a group of ladies on tour. It was so good! They use as many of the local grown, produced items as possible in the meal. And you can tell by how fresh everything tasted! There is also a gift shop, and a market to buy fresh products on site too. Everyone was very friendly. We were... More
