Taste wise this was the yummiest meal we had on our trip to S.C. I thought the tomato pie was awesome(though it is not what some people picture as pie.) We had a bbq pork sandwich, pimento cheese, grits, mashed potatoes, and a tomato sandwich. Every morsel was so flavorful. Oh and the lemonade had a nice tang. That being... More

After hearing positive things about this cafe, I had expectations of better food than I was served. The crab cake was good, but the vegetable side dishes were very inferior. The "tomato pie" was very wet and sloppy and the cabbage dish tasteless and soft. If I were in the area again at lunch time, I think I'd pack a... More

Desiring a wonderful lunch to share with an amazing man, I chose this place based on the reviews. Scared at first by the "yard art" and just sort of plain exterior...I walked into a delightful local establishment..in which I felt treated like a treasured friend! Every bite was scrumptious, visually enticing, and left me wishing I could put this place... More

Just happened to pass by, saw a lot of cars in the lot, stopped in for lunch and the service was so friendly, the food delish. I also loved their gift shop, beautiful home and garden items, there was also fresh baked goods for home purchase. You will not be disappointed here.

True Southern cooking with food from their own farm. You can tell that this is a place that has great food by the large number of return customers!! They only serve lunch, but it is worth the drive. They also sell fresh veg grown on their farm and meals to take home. It is one of the best values for... More

You don't eat here for atmosphere - you eat here for the food. The menu changes daily so once you go, don't get settled in on a favorite because you never know when it will turn up on the menu again. A lot of their offerings depend on what is in season and what just got unloaded off the delivery... More

Have been here several times and the lunch menu is great. Southern cooking and sides like sweet potato and raisin casserole and my favorite collard greens. Best value for the money in Charleston. Store adjacent to the restaurant sells fresh made baked goods, produce, and wine among other things. Gift shop also.

Don'r pass by this one. Service is friendly and efficient, and the kitchen turns out an eclectic menu, the best of which is the crab cakes. Try the cucumber and dill and the squash casserole side dishes. But save room for the excellent peach pie with a "slice" of ice cream. Truly worth the trip.

No frills, super cute . Great good, fresh with so many sides to choose from. Crab cakes are the best around. Tomato pie and fresh bet salad are outstanding. We shared a piece of on site baked coconut cream cake! Service is warm and prompt. Don't miss it if you are in the area. Lunch only 11-3.

This is a really great southern food lunch spot. This little café is inside of a produce market and gift shop. The vegetables served are mostly made from local produce and are denoted so on their menu by *--* . While we waited for seating we walked around and looked at all the wonderful items they have for sale. including... More
