The manager at our hotel recommended this restaurant. We had the grouper sandwich and crab cake sandwich for lunch. The food was average, but nothing to write home about.

Don't be put off by the look of this place both inside and out, service and food were excellent, especially if you like fish (bit obvious really) the food is of good quality and the service at the time of our visit was excellent

This was our first time visiting Chez for dinner and was so good returned later in the week for a second visit. The fish was very fresh and expertly prepared. The sauces on the entree was delicious and not too heavy. Will absolutely visit Chez when we return to Kiawah.

This was our second time here, returning from our fond memories of last year. We brought newbies with us this time! Our waitress was great...a bit of spunk , which was perfect for our crew. Running joke was they were "out" of a few items, but we made do. Everything we had was great- fish , pasta and steak. Desserts... More

Artsy little house turned into a fabulous bohemian restaurant. Don't let the kitchy outside discourage you. The food is delicious and plentiful. The place is loud and the service is slow, but the meal was so fresh and tasty and prepared beautifully. Worth the drive from Kiawah where the food is overpriced and boring.

Our experience at this charming restaurant on Johns Island, SC, just outside of Seabrook and Kiawah Islands was so satisfying that we ate here twice during our week long vacation at Seabrook. The restaurant feels like a well lived in (in a good way) gathering place. The decor boasts brightly colored walls and plastic tablecloths, with various styles of hanging... More

Good varietal menu. Service was quick and attentive. Food was terrific. I am a retired chef who lives nearby and intends to be a "regular".

We visit Kiawah Island almost every year, and this is the best food between there and downtown Charleston. We always eat there on our first and last evening during our stay. The other side is a fish market, so you will always get fresh fish there. It is not a fancy place, and the noise level can be a bit... More

Great little seafood restaurant. The outside doesn't look like most of the restaurants but was always full so we decided to try. Glad we did. Seafood was fresh and delicious!

This place was great! The outside is a bit quaint and tired but once you walk inside it was nice, however, you can tell their primary focus is on the food. It is wonderful! The fish was flaky, well seasoned and delicious! The salads were not only plated beautifully but tasted great. The tomato crab basil and she crab soups... More
