On Monday night they have all you can eat crab legs. They were some of the best that I have had. The server was awesome always coming back to check on us. It was crowded and was every night. We ate there three nights and injoyed the food immensely. We had a marginal server that last night we were there... More

Recently spent time on Johns Island and made a trip (or 2) to Reds. The first was after golf and we had lunch. There were 4 of us so we sat outside under an umbrella. Even though it was hot, there was a nice breeze. We ordered drinks and food. Pretty good beer selection and the food was very good.... More

Good views of the marina. Nice upper deck to sit outside and eat and drink. There was live music when we were there which was fun. Would go again.

Love the atmosphere and that this place overlooks Shem creek. The seafood is great (got crab cakes, fried shrimp and grilled scallops). Drinks are priced great. Will definitely be back!

Had heard pretty good things about Red's. Got there with our party of 5. Met with an hour wait, but no big deal. We went upstairs and had a couple beers. Bartenders were friendly enough, but one couldn't keep his hands off his hair. Never did see him wash his hands. He was bringing out bar food. Glad it was... More

This is a good lunch spot. I had the grouper sandwich - blackened with a side of shrimp for an extra $5. I liked it a lot. Our waitress was very nice too.

My family has for years been a seasonal patron of the original Red's Icehouse on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, just across the river from Charleston. We were so happy to see the owners open a second location here between Seabrook and Kiawah Islands. There is a real shortage of dependable, good quality, reasonably priced dining in this area. Food... More

Our party of 5 arrived around 6:00 on a Sunday night. Usually this spot is known for it's sunset, but it was cloudy, so wasn't expecting much. We asked for a spot in the bar area, as we all like the more lively atmosphere. The wait turned out to not be that long and we were seated at a great... More

Reds does not have gourmet food, but you can expect the best in just plain old southern and american cooking, burgers, fried green tomatoes anyone? The service is fair to good, what do you expect, young people are almost always wait persons but our servers have always been courteous. The view is the best and eating outside if not too... More
