If you are planning on dining at Wild Olive and it is raining or there has been rain, please be sure to wear old shoes. There were so many puddles in the parking lot, you certainly had to decide how best to get to the front entrance ramp. Once inside and seated, there was so much noise that it made... More

My family went to Wild Olive for our last dinner in South Carolina. We saw how highly it was rated on TripAdvisor and knew we needed to try it, and boy are we glad we did! To start, my mom ordered the bruschetta, my dad and I split the warm olives and the bruschetta, and my brother had the caesar... More

This is our favorite restaurant on Johns Island. Wonderful food and friendly service. Great place to slip in as a couple if you are willing to sit a the bar or community table. If you have a group or you are coming in from out of town plan ahead (weeks) to get a reservation.. it's worth the effort. Intimate and... More

We visited this restaurant over the holidays on a gift certificate from our thoughtful kids. The food was out of this world and the atmosphere very inviting. Our reservation was honored immediately upon arrival and our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. We definitely will be back. Hopefully by then the owners will address the condition of the driveway and parking lot,... More

I was looking for a nice place to have dinner on December 31st and I was impressed they accepted reservation at 10 PM. Great. Location is a bit remote; a 20 minutes drive from Charleston but worth it for sure. Great atmosphere, good music, not extremely loud, cute decorations. Food, amazing! Chicken parmiggiana, veal, pasta, salads, all were delicious. Try... More

The reason for any restaurant is food, and the reason that the food at Wild Olive is fantastic is the super talented Chef Bradley Grozis. Now that former head chef Jacques Larson has moved on to The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s Island, Chef Grozis, with his magical creation and control of flavors, has come into his own. We are long... More

The outside if fun (a chandelier hanging from a tree in the drive way). The menu alone is enough to confuse you and the along come a most attentive and knowledgeable server to confuse you with the daily specials. There were four of us, two tried the "standard" offerings, and two tried the specials. No one was disappointed, no one... More

Put this restaurant on your itinerary with a guarantee that you will leave more than satisfied. We are Charleston area residents and have dined at most of the restaurants in the area plus many others elsewhere. Superb meals at The Wild Olive have placed it at the top of our list for both food and service. A varied menu of... More

Much of the produce & fish/seafood is locally sourced. Authentic Italian cuisine with fair pricing. Started with Gnocchi that had braised ribs on top...fabulous. The table also shared bruschetta, calamari & warm olives with roasted garlic cloves. Entrees were good size & well seasoned. Try the gelato for dessert!

Went here for the first time on the recommendation of a friend and can't wait to go back! The handmade pasta and the house made marinara was fantastic. I highly recommend starting with the calamari. The house red was a great Chianti and it was only $5/ glass! Vanessa, our server, was superb and made the evening even better. Do... More
