We were very lucky to have been referred to this retaurant. What a phenomenal meal. We all started with a Caesar Salad whoch fat surpassed the ones we have eaten before. My husband had the braised short ribs with fontina stuffed risotto cake. I opted for a pasta dish as my main dish, agnolotti stuffed with veal in lemon basil... More

We were visiting Kiawah for a special occasion, and after reading a few reviews, were off to the Wild Olive on a rainy mid-September night. We were greeted immediately by 2 pleasant people, one of who seated us immediately. Christine was to be our server, after a gal filled our glasses with water. Wild Olive did not disappoint. After reading... More

Perhaps my favorite thing about this restaurant is that the pasta comes in small and large sizes. By ordering several of the smaller plates, you can really try a variety - and trust me: you'll want to! We got a couple of appetizers - the beef carpaccio was delicious. We tried four different pastas - and I can't decide which... More

I have eaten here many time and always have an excellent meal and great service. We had the risotto ball appetizer. As usual everyone loved it. The steak and smashed potatoes were incredible as usual and cooked perfectly. Brussels sprouts side was delicious. Pasta was great and comes in two sizes. Skipped dessert this time. great meal!

Always great service and great food! Their sausage/cheese balls are a must along with the chicken parm! One of the two best restaurants in the Charleston area and they are both on Johns Island! Will always go back again and again!

It seems that once you get out of the NY area, Italian food just isn't the same. This place is very good and comes close but just misses when it comes to pastas. The sauces are good but the pastas could be a little more al dente. Their short ribs were very good and the gnocchi appetizer was a good... More

We eat at this restaurant every 4 weeks or so for the last few years. It is outstanding every time. The standard menu items are perfect each time, specials are Great. Jason is always there and taking care of the customers, always remembers our names... Nice touch. Who needs downtown and the parking hassles when you can have the best... More

I am already looking forward to returning to the Wild Olive! The food is more than amazing, you must experience this gem for yourself. Our server Melaine was awesome, she was part of the experience, with her wonderful suggestions and incredible personality, we just loved her. My son has autism, the kindness she showed him was just beautiful. We didn't... More

This was our favorite restaurant on our visit to Kiawah island. I highly recommend it. Cozy atmosphere, good bread. The bruschetta was amazing. The tomatoes were so fresh. We had the chicken parm and it was great. Our server was very attentive. All good. Will definitely return next time
