Atmosphere and excellent cuisine

We dined at the WO on Tuesday night with friends from James Island. We all agreed that the service was excellent; the servers were very knowledgeable about the menu items and were attentive. My husband loved the grouper and I had the lasagna...both absolutely delicious. Good drinks from the bar, too! We will definitely be back. They are working on... More

Wild olive has a lovely casual vibe with a delicious aroma that increases the anticipation for the meal that is to come. We started with the risotto fritters which were outstanding! Hubby had the triggerfish special and ate every morsel. I had the Bucatini with shrimp and nduja. I had to ask about ingredients as some were unfamiliar to me.... More

fantastic restaurant with a great team. Super friendly, fast and competent. The atmosphere is great and the food is very very delicious. And all of this for an extreme fair price. So if you are close by that is the restaurant you want to have Dinner, lunch or what so ever.

Warm and inviting restaurant down the street for another fantastic restaurant - Fat Hen. The food was terrific. Started out with fried calamari which was not tough or chewy. Great marinara sauce to dip in. The entrees were terrific too from the veal marsala to the chicken parm. Will sure be coming back when staying in Kiawah Island

Driving down the Maybank Highway on John's Island, this place is easy to miss, but well worth the effort in finding it. Cuisine can be loosely categorized as Italian, but every Italian-named item on the menu our party selected was graced with the most unusual but tasty interpretations. The calamari was crisp and served with a delightfully spicy sauce. I... More

We visited Wild Olive because of the fabulous TA reviews. We are always searching for good Italian being from the northeast. I had high hopes after reading the reviews. We were disappointed. My husband!s dish was ok but my veal was so tough that I should have sent it back. We waited a long time to be seated and were... More

Went for dinner on Saturday night. Food was incredible! Best Italian food I've had in years. Coming from a New York Italian household, I must say I was really blown away by the chefs menu and the use of the ingredients. Pasta dishes were all on point! Items you don't see on your normal menu but also not far enough... More

Make reservations. And while the parking lot is being redone the food was great! Calamari was best ever! And the steak and potatoes dish was just Wow!! Desert - the chocolate pistachio cake was the perfect ending! Even the bill was not shocking thanks to small portions being offered!

Been going here for years. Never a bad experience. Money well spent. Only complaint: too many good choices on the menu then... they tell you the specials...

First of all if you are going on a busier night make sure you get reservations! The food is incredible. By far some of the best italian food I have ever had. We went with our waitresses recommendations on her 2 favorite pastas and loved both of them. The specials are also incredible. My husband and my 2 kids named... More
