Girls' Weekend Tradition

The Wild Olive, while 30 minutes from everything, is well worth the drive! The roasted Brussel sprout side dish and risotto fritters are a must-have. The "small plate" offering is a welcome change to being over-served at most restaurants. This has been a girls' weekend tradition for several... read more

I have been going to Wild Olive for a couple years. It used to be our favorite spot on Johns Island. However, it has gone down hill in the last 9 months. After my last visit in which I had informed them it was my anniversary in the reservation and was seated next to a screaming baby, I was hoping... More

Excellent Italian food served by knowledgable servers. Service was great and done in a prompt but not intrusive manner. A little noisy as the tables are quite close together.

Wild Olive is a go to for good food and good service. The servers are sincere and they really know their menu. It is italian with a twist but don't skip the classics like chicken parm. They use of local ingredients in the most interesting ways. Johns Islands best restaurant gives the spots on the penninsula a run for their... More

We were in the Charleston area during the Wine & Food Festival weekend and having done pre-visit restaurant research we knew we wanted to dine at Wild Olive. We were not disappointed with this decision. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we knew we were going to love it. The food was superior. The suppli starter was as... More

We had such a wonderful dinner at Wild Olive. From the moment we walked in, we were treated as if we were old friends. Cozy, pretty, relaxed ambiance. Our waitress knew the menu inside and out. Jason the general manager was visible and friendly and made the night special for us. Everything we had was outstanding. I know I will... More

We had dinner here last Saturday night. We would put the food at the top of Italian cuisine in the Charleston area, certainly competitive with Indaco, but at 1/2 the price. We particularly enjoyed the pasta dishes, as the homemade noodles were expertly prepared. We also appreciated the selection of draft beers, particularly a Wisconsin coffee stout. Also, the inclusion... More

Friends in Cashiers, NC insisted we do Wild Olive "one of our favorite places!" Thursday night and they were packed really putting the stress on a kitchen and wait staff. Kudos to the entire wait staff but especially to Alex who exceeded our every need and wish. Lots of specials to go along with a broad menu selection. We split... More

We've been hearing from our friends that Wild Olive is the best! They are right! Wow! The food is excellent. Beautifully crafted. Our server Veronica was an obvious Foodie who guided us thru the menu splendidly. The warm olives are wonderful and the portion was great. Served in a little crock with a flame below to keep them warm. Best... More

We have just moved to Seabrook Island and are in the process of finding our new best places. Wild Olive certainly fits the bill for us. The night we visited with friends we found the service exceptional and the menu varied and robust. The portions are huge and you could share if you like. We will be back!
