We stopped in this quaint little restaurant because we heard it was killer. I certainly didn't expect a restaurant in a strip mall next to Harris Teeter to be outstanding but i was dead wrong. I had the She Crab soup followed by the Ahi Tuna, My wife had a great salad followed by the Wreck Fish with a lobster... More

Great experience that lived up to all the great reviews. Wonderful food, great service, low key environment…could be a pretenentious little place with such great food, but instead, was a delightful restaurant! Will have to go back again to try everything on the menu…had swordfish, steak, key lime pie, all were great!

Like others we were looking for a quick meal after driving all afternoon and checking in at Wild zdunes. We received a recommendation for another place but when we arrived there was an hour wait. Chose Long Island Cafe because we could walk right in a be seated. Don't understand how- the food was fabulous. Everything from the bread to... More

This restaurant is in a shopping center close to the Isle of Palms Parkway. While it has a nice appearance from outside it is inside the restaurant that you will truly be impressed. The food is excellent, with a good range of entree choices, service is pleasant, very attentive and helpful without being overbearing and there is a nice wine... More

We had driven all day and wanted to find a seafood restaurant on the island as opposed to driving to Charlestown. We looked at the reviews and set our choice on Long Island Cafe. We had a fantastic meal. Service was excellent and our server was super nice. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, nice ambiance restaurant... More

Located in a strip mall, it is much better than you might think. The price point is very fair. Fish are very fresh, and coded anyway you like. The wine list and cocktails are good. We went twice during the 5 days we were there. The service personnel are wonderful and very helpful. You are not rushed. Tried flounder for... More

We dropped in at this cafe just before they were closing and they blew our minds. We ate the most delicious shrimp and salmon you have ever had. After a cross country flight, it was just what we needed. The chef was gracious, the service was friendly and most of all, all 6 of us, were very very happy with... More

Dont let the strip center location turn you away. We ate there last night for the first time in five months and the food was still great. Order whatever is the local fish special. I had the redfish and it was perfectly prepared, not over cooked as in so many large restaurants. The succotash was a great side.

My husband and I were just driving around Isle of Palms exploring for the day. We were staying in North Charleston. We didn't know where to go and just stopped in for lunch because we saw it. The restaurant was clean and the staff very pleasant. I had the special of the day which was a fried chicken sandwich with... More

We were fortunate to visit during restaurant week, had very good values on their dinners which included a desert. The desert was call chocolate bourbon pecan pie. If for no other reason stop there for just this. Just a very short distance (1 block) from the county park at the Isle of Palms Beach.
