Check it out if you ever come near the dim lights of Hollywood, SC...a quaint town on your approach to Paradise at the end of the road, literally, Hwy 174, one way in and one way out. This fine dining establishment is truly located in the old town Fire Station and full of relics and memorabilia honoring Fire Fighters everywhere.... More

Probably among top three restaurants I have ever eaten at. The cooked cabbage ia the best ever, and everyone is very friendly.

Had Valentines dinner here. Wait was expected and tolerable. Just long enough for one of their well constructed cocktails. Although items ordered from the standing menu are indeed tasty, my wife and I feel that the daily special menu items are better, possibly fresher. She had crab cakes and I had fried oysters. Both were remarkably delicious! Sides were grits... More

This was our second visit here in three nights! This restaurant is just wonderful. The staff is great, knowledgeable & friendly. We had buffalo tomatoes, fried with buffalo sauce & blue cheese & it is phenomenal. My wife & I had the "New Year's Perlo" which is a great dish with rice, black eyed peas, country ham, shrimp, onions with... More

I have been to the Old Firehouse for years. It is a must visit. The menu is small, and they do all of it very. I absolutely LOVE their wood fired oven pizza. They have it down. However, one of the best attribuites of this restaurant is that you can actually carry on a conversation over dinner! that is rare... More

My wife & I returned and this is our favorite restaurant. We had buffalo green tomatoes with blue cheese, followed by shrimp perlo which is "plate licking" good! True Myth chardonnay (Edna Valley) was an excellent accompanying wine. The service is great & I really don't see how they keep getting better, but they do! A superb evening in a... More

I had some of the best Mahi Mahi ever--fresh and cooked to perfection. My companions were similarly impressed with their pizzas. Bravo. Wish we could turn the volume down, but that's a common problem in today's restaurants.

I had the Crispy Whole Flounder with grits. Delicious! My wife had Scallops Scampi with linguine. It, too, was delicious. The restaurant is about 35 miles from our home in Mt. Pleasant, but it was worth the trip. We will go back.

We wanted something different and to avoid downtown Charleston crowds. Happened upon this place that from the road looked a little run down, but was packed. If you have to wait it must be good, so we did. Burger was delicious and the fried green tomatoes with pimento was excellent. Glad we gave this historical place a try.
