Such a fun "hole in the wall" spot. The food is excellent, the staff has always been friendly and we will continue to come back here so long as it stands. By far our favorite dinner during our stay in HHI!

Generous portions, funky setting, sweet tea by the gallon - what's not to like? Had a combo platter with blackened scallops and fried clams - yum! Great sweet potato fries - was so full that we too our desserts home - bananas foster bread pudding (more yum). Do not compare it to anywhere you have eaten in NO as you... More

French Quarter Cafe is really a misnomer...it is more like Cajun Cafe. Kenny B's is a real taste of Louisiana in South Carolina. The food here is more Cajun than Creole, though they do have such favorites as muffelettas and po' boys. I got the Louisiana sampler (since I could not make up my mind what I wanted) of gumbo,... What a find! The best gumbo I've had the pleasur ed to eat. I loved the whistle stop Po boy. I felt like I needed to shower after eating it since it was sinfully messy. Others enjoyed quarter mufflatas with red beans and rice (which received rave reviews). The voodoo pasta was exceptional. Finish it off with fresh begniets (likely... More

We first visited Kenny B's over six years ago and fell in love with the ambiance and the New Orleans' cuisine. It was so nice to find that nothing had changed!! The restaurant is small, which adds to the hustle/bustle feeling of New Orleans. The service is good, and the food never disappoints!! During our recent week stay, we ate... More

Great shrimp po' boy with a huge side of red beans and rice. The sauce was really good; a little too much of it but real good. Huge portion size. If I'm ever back to Hilton Head I will definitely come back for more. I even hear they have a Sunday Brunch!

We ordered take out from Kenny B's and the food was really good. We had the jambalaya and the pasta with shrimp and scallops. We could only eat half and had the rest for lunch the next day. It's not a fancy place but the food is homemade and is very good. Huge portions and great value.

We stopped in for Sunday brunch and loved this place .... you can get made to order omelets or branch out to the "voodoo pasta" or shrimp and grits. The gumbo was quite authentic having become a New Orleans gumbo "snob" so to speak .... the gumbo you get in a strip mall in Nawlins is better than just about... More
