We went twice while on our week here at Hilton Head. We stayed at a condo close by so we could walk over. Both nights were fantastic. The meals were great with ample portions. My husband is a big man and did not go away hungry. The early dining from 5:00-5:45 is a great bargain and they do not serve... More

The title says it! Their shrimp & grits are in a slightly zippy tasso ham gravy, served over fried grit cakes. Others in our party always enjoy their meals as well. Alexanders is one of our favorite HHI restaurants.

When in Hilton Head a good bang for your buck is Alexander's early dinning (5:00 PM - 5:45 PM). They have several nice selections for choose from. We always dine there at least one time during our time at HHI.

Ignore adverse reviews, we discounted this restaurant after reading reviews but were recommended by fellow travelers and were SO pleased we went, TWICE! Food, ambience, service and staff were just wonderful. The Mahi Mahi & Chilean Sea Bass were to die for. GO ! you won't regret it.

Loreen the hostess was absolutely wonderful. The food is the best we've had anywhere on the island. I had weiner schnitzal that was just like we had in Salzburg, Austria. Three others had fish dishes and raved about how good they were. The prices are a little on the high side but well priced for the quality and presentation of... More

Tony was our server-he made an already delish meal even better. Had the butternut squash soup. So good b/c the flavor was subtle and not too sweet as similar soups I have had elsewhere. The crab cakes were great, lobster mac and cheese exceptional and the pb pie was the best dessert I have had this week (this is saying... More

Alexanders continues to be on our A list for food, drink and service. During our most recent visit, we were particularly impressed by Monica, our bartender. She makes a perfect Cosmo ( no lime) and provided an inviting, personable experience. We'll be anxious to return for another memorable Alexander's experience. P.S. Brian still can't be beat for great service!

Meal was very good and the servers were attentive. However, the bread pudding dessert was one of the best we've ever tasted! (Even my husband thought so and bread pudding is not on his list of favorite desserts.)

This was our second time visiting Alexanders and it was as good as the first time. The wait time to get seated was very short as was the time that it took to get our meal. The atmosphere was very relaxing also. Thanks for a great night out!
