We bring the very best of Southwestern culture and cuisine home to the Lowcountry. Our menu has been an Islanders" preferred dining spot for over 20 years and with dishes like our famous grouper, to our bone-in cowboy cut black angus ribeye, our outrageous chimichanga to even lobster fajitas, we're sure to have a new favorite waiting for you. From the sounds of the live Ranchero guitar player to the smells rising from our mesquite grill, Santa Fe Cafe is a much welcomed reprieve for the senses. Even when you're outside underneath the stars on our Rooftop Cantina, we've got you covered.

Dinner With Clients

Excellent food. Fantastic service. They have a soup that comes out looking like it has a desert painting on the surface. It tastes even better than it looks.

There were four of us on Valentine's day for dinner. The service was good. The noise level not that bad as there were empty places and we were there for 7 pm. Our friends always eat the grouper. They love it although the portion size of the fish seemed to be different. My husband had fish, which he liked. I... More

Our family has been going to Santa Fe for several years and it remains one of our favorite restaurants on Hilton Head. You must try their grouper! It's one of their signature dishes and is always fabulous! Other favorites are the painted desert soup and the Santa Fe salad. Great for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food at Santa Fe is great, but I have to agree with some of the other reviewers and say that the front of the house needs some improving. It's not that they were bad, it's just that for the price of the menu items, it should be a lot better. I want to reiterate how good the food is... More

The food here is really good, we ended up here by chance because our first choice closed early. The menu is limited but what they do have is really good. A definite must for those coming to Hilton Head.

What a great restaurant. Our server was a young man who was superb. He assisted us with what was good on the menu. Served us drinks from the bar. My husband tried Sierra Nevada and I had a Margarita. The Margarita had too much ice, hardly any liquor but the presentation was good. Our entrees were delicious. I had a fajita... More

The oysters were wonderful...the outrageous chimichanga was just that ...in a good way!! my wife loved the fajitas and the churro dessert was a really good end to the meal. margaritas could use less ice and more tequila...service was attentive! definitely going back again and again

I felt like I was back in Taos, NM when dining here! I would go back in a heartbeat. I ordered the combo meal. It was nearly too beautiful to eat. Everything was prepared to perfection!

On the recommendation of a Hilton Head regular we went to Santa Fe Cafe for dinner and were not disappointed. It is a super attractive restaurant with a very comfortable feel. Though we did not have a reservation we had no trouble getting a table. My husband started with Yucatan Ceviche which had some kick to it but was thoroughly... More

We enjoyed the variety of choices on the menu and the service was really good. The atmoshphere is fun and the restaurant has a good vibe. We look forward to going back. The Painted Desert soup is a favorite
